I can feel all the joy from both of my guys. For a few weeks now I have waited for them to feel our little girl kick but she seems to love kicking me more during work hours or to wake me up early mornings while Jack sleeps.
"Are you guys ready to get the pictures done? If we don't do it soon everyone may come over and knock on the door." I laugh.
Nicolas smiles and jumps up running to his room, while still holding onto the pink dress.
"I was rather enjoying this time the four of us." Jack tries to pout and makes no move on getting up.
"Me too, but we have the rest of the night after the pictures. It won't take long." I kiss his lips and get off the couch.
Walking to the bedroom, I take my hair out of the clip I have been using to hold it up. My curls hang loose and I run my fingers through them in the mirror to make sure they lay nice. I remove the leggings and shirt and put on a yellow dress before running through my hair again. I slip on some flats and walk out to find Jack holding his camera with Nicolas standing by in a button up shirt and his jeans.
"Where do you think would be the best place?" I ask Jack.
"Outside by the flower bushes would make for some lovely portraits." He smiles and grabs his stand.
We all walk out back and Jack puts his stand up with the camera on it. Nicolas and I stand by the flowers as he holds the dress looking at it with so much happiness, that I smile at how happy he has been.
A snap catches my attention and Jack smirks.
"I had to get a shoot of that perfect moment that was not planned."
Nicolas stands and I place my hands on his shoulders, as he holds up the dress. Jack presses a few buttons and then walks over to us and takes his spot next to me, but he places a hand on my bump. The camera flashes and Jack pulls me to him for a kiss and Nicolas moves over some. It shocks me when there is another snap.
We bend down and I hug Nicolas tight. "I love you so much little man. I know your excited to have a little sister. Would you help us pick a name for her?" I whisper in his ear while his arms tighten around my neck.
There are more snaps that I can hear. For someone who didn't want to leave our happy bubble on the couch he sure is enjoying this. Then again it is what he loves doing.
"I would like to help Mama." Nicolas nods on my shoulder.
I stand and Jack is moving the camera stand. We walk back in the house and I take off my shoes. Jack comes up to the counter with his tablet and shows me all the pictures.
"I want all of these in a frame." Jack smiles and I nod in agreement.
I laugh some with the picture of Jack kissing me. Nicolas has a hand over his eyes but is smiling. My eyes blur looking at the tablet and I let out a huff.
Crazy hormones, that is the only downfall this entire pregnancy so far. As I get further along I am easier to go from laughing to crying in a second flat. Or like at work walking away from the storage room behind the nurses station and just asked Jewels for a swab kit because I got so mad I was shaking due to not finding one, and thankfully Jewels held in her laugh at that moment.
Jack sends them to my email and I download all the pictures on my phone. I pick the one of the three of us smiling at the camera to be the gender announcement. Starting a new text message, I add on all the phone numbers for every single person in our lives and attach the photo before hitting send.
With the picture sent, I make a small collage out of all of them. That gets set as my wallpaper for my phone.
Nicolas bounds over to the counter. "These are so pretty."
"That they are little man. So what do you want to do the rest of the evening?" I look over and he changed into his pajamas already.
"Watching tv and seeing if I can feel sissy kick anymore. If your okay with it?"
"Of course I am little man. Let me go change and I will join you on the couch, just pick out the movie you want to watch." I smile and kiss his head before walking to the bedroom.
By the time I get back to the living room, Jack has the movie turned on for Nicolas and holding onto our plates. Nicolas is sitting on the couch with a tray in front of him eating. I join them on the couch and place the pillow on my lower back, it helps so much to where I won't get stuck even being small baby bumped if I sit to long on this soft couch my back will start hurting.
Jack hands me the plate and we eat in silence watching the movie. Nicolas picked out a newer movie that his favorite character came out with. My phone has been dinging like crazy and after I finished my plate, Jack takes them to the kitchen only to return with it.
"I am going to throw on some lounge pants, snowflake." Jack kisses me before standing up.
I look at my phone and everyone is in 'awe' and 'oh' with us having a little girl.
Jack sits back on the couch and Nicolas moves closer to me as well.
"I asked Nicolas to help us come up with a name for our little girl." I whisper up to Jack.
"I like that snowflake." Jack smiles.
Nicolas pops up a little and looks at us. "I think I may have a name but tell me if it is funny."
"What is it little man?" I ask him.
"So we all have kinda of like Christmas time names." Nicolas smiles, making Jack and I nod.
Never thought of it but Nicolas is right there.
"I like Eve." Nicolas finishes.
Jack hums. "I agree that is a cute name."
"So do I. She could be, Eve Isabel Winters." I look between them.
Jack gently takes my chin and turns my head up to him, kissing me deeply.
"Thank you so much Holly. You will never know how precious this is to me. I love you with all my heart and your heart is so big." He whispers when he pulls back.
"I like it and it is a name that no one can try to bully my sissy with." Nicolas puffs up.
Jack and I both laugh heartedly because Nicolas will be an amazing older brother. He is already so protective over her and she isn't even here yet.
