6 shots, and one martini later.. we left the bar and went to the Karaoke bar across the street. We were all giggling and laughing as we got on stage. We sang that weird barbie girl song by Aqua and the crowd thought we were hilarious. We each got a couple free drinks then watched some other drunks sing. This one girl was really good. she sang a country song- something by like Shania Twain I think- then she jumped off the stage and her boyfriend caught her. It was cute.
I bought a shot of whiskey, then suggested we move on to another place.. So we did. We ended up in a club- not a bar, but a club further downtown and had the best time of our lives.
The dark red lights flashed throughout the club, making it kinda hard to see, and the music was so loud we had to lean over and practically shout in each others' ears.
There was a fast bar, then the big seating area up a couple steps to the left of the dance floor..
Then there was a private section with pole dancers and big couches and more liquor.
"Let's dance!" I told Nat
She grabbed my hand and pulled me to the middle of the dance floor. We spun in circles and grinding on each other, just having fun, then a really pretty girl with braids in her hair walked over and asked to dance with Nat for a bit
"Have fun!" I called to Nat
She was smiling really wide and nodded to me.. then turned to the taller girl and started to dance with her
"I"m so proud of her" Brady told me
"Yeah.. I just wish her parents accepted her" I sighed
Eventually, Brady found some girl to dance with and I was left at the bar. I ordered myself a couple of Sourz..
I turned to go back to the dance floor but knocked right into someone..
Our eyes met and I froze.
"N-Niall?" I asked
"Holy shit" he whispered before pulling me into his chest
I felt tears come to my eyes and I held him tightly
"I fucking missed you" he said in my ear
His voice was shaky.. I sniffled and nodded but just kept hugging him
"Let's go upstairs, it's quieter. We should catch up" he told me as he pulled back and looked into my eyes
He wiped a tear off my cheek with his thumb and I agreed to go with him
