Y/n pov

I wake up in a cold sweat. I had yet another nightmare.

"Eddie.."

"Don't leave me dammit!"

Tears form in my eyes. Even though I barely remember it it's still depressed me to think about just that moment.

I look and see Eddie, asleep. I smile slightly and kiss his forehead.

He smiles. "Good morning sunshine" he say grogily. "Good morning, Eddie the Banished" I say.

"God I love it when you say my name" he says. I chuckle. I look and see the sun hasn't even risen yet.

I lay my head back on his chest. "Y/n" he says. I look up at him. He kisses me. I smile into the kiss. He pulls back. "Is that all?" I ask. He smiles. "Yeah" he says kissing me again. He kisses me all of over my face. "Oh Eddie, quit it" I say. He just laughs.

"I'm sorry, I slipped" he says. "You are still high Eddie" I say. "What pfft- no" he says. "Mhm" I say smiling.

He smiles back and kisses my forehead. I lay my head on his chest and close my eyes. "Do you think I need a new hair style?" He asks. "What?" I ask. "I've always had my hair down but it always gets in my face, I mean it helps when I'm headbanging to a song but when we were having sex I could tell it was like tickling you and bothering you" he says.

"Can we talk about this in the morning, I'm tired" I say. "Right sorry" he says. I close my eyes. "What about a ponytail, oh I would look badass in a pony tail" he says. "Eddie go to bed" I say. "What about a bu-"

I cover his mouth. "I love hearing your voice but I also love getting sleep so I don't strangle you" I say uncovering his mouth. "What if I'm into that?" He asks.

I roll my eyes and turn away from him. He laughs and turns me over. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding... or am i?" He asks. I go to turn over but he holds me close to him.

"I'm kidding I swear, go to sleep, sweetheart" he says pulling the covers up a bit and kissing the top of my head.

He closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep. I hear the clock again. I look and see the clock, buried in the wall, covered in the vines, the same vines from the Upside Down.

I stare in shock as the clock ticks.

"Y/n!" Eddie yells. I look at him. "You ok?" He asks. "Yeah, just thought I saw something.." I say.

"What did you think you saw?" He asks. I look back at the wall, the clock wasnt there."Nothing... just a rabbit" I lie.

He squints his eyes, looking at me. "Ok? Rest" he says. He pushes my head onto his chest. It had gotten really cold. I tried to stop myself from shivering. "You ok?" Eddie asks. "Hm? Yeah I'm fine, doing great" I say.

"Bullshit, you're cold, here" he says handing me his shirt. "Eddie, no, I'm not wearing your shirt" I say.

"Oh come on you big baby" he says sitting up. He puts the shirt on me. "There" he says. He looks at me.

He continues to stare. "Eddie you're staring" I say. "I'm admiring what is mine" he says. "If it's yours then take the damn shirt-"

"No I'm talking about you" he says. "I know I'm just joking" I say kissing him. "You look beautiful" he says. He lays back down, pulling me with him. I lay on his chest and pull the covers over us.

I hear the ticking again. I shut my eyes.

I fall asleep to his heartbeat, thinking about the clock.
