The feathers buried in the royal garden then turned into two Sapele trees in the middle of the night. When the king got there to relax, their branches and leaves swooped down to cover him with their shades, like two parasols. Knowing these were beautiful shady trees, he sent his servants to make a hammock between them. Then, he lay down and enjoyed the cool air. When he left, the branch became straight again. Since then, the king got there to relax under the Sapele trees every single day.
When Cám knew about this, she told her mother again. Her mother told her to send some loggers to cut down those trees to make a weaving loom and then lie to the king. Returning to the palace, Cám took advantage of a stormy day and sent a logger to cut down those Sapple trees to get wood to make a loom. Seeing that the trees had already been cut down, the king asked, and Cám replied:
-The trees fell because of the storm, so I sent a logger to make a loom to weave clothes for you, your Majesty.
However, when the weaving loom was ready, every time Cam used it to weave, she always heard the loom cursing her.
"Creaking! Creaking! Do not dare to steal my husband, or I will gouge my eyes out."
Seeing that, Cám was scared and rushed home to tell her mother. Her mother told her to burn the loom, then take the wood ashes away and dump them far away for her peace of mind. After she returned to the palace, Cám did as her mother had said. She took the burned ashes to the side of faraway a road.
