Its been a few days since the crew had one of the best nights together in a long time. After the game, we played a few more. Sharing our first impressions of each other. Apparently the consensus is I was scary, but in a good way? What ever the hells that means. Anyway, I found out that Ike had a chance to be on a very fancy new ship because of his expertise in sailing. I had almost cried knowing that meeting me was enough to keep him here. I knew he enjoyed my ship, but apparently he likes me even more then I knew.

We danced and sung. Altas enjoyed talking to the crew, but he didn't say anything to me, not after I offered up a glimpse into my personal life. I don't know why he cares so much, it has nothing to do with him. I don't need him getting all manly on me, I delt with Nathene myself. I can't lie, it is nice that he for some reason cared, but I would rather not deal with him caring for me when we are going to be separated in less than a day.

I am busy working on papers for my last transfer, getting the others in order and making sure there are no discrepancies between ours and theirs. This is worst part of my duties, but it allows me to be alone and for that I am grateful.

I arrange for the day we dock to be the same day we leave, I don't want to spend any more time there than necessary. The days leading up to dropping the cargo, have started to get cold. We are bundled up more than usual and are trying to work through the frigid temperatures. This is the reason we hardly go up this way, and why not many people choose to reside there.

I still haven't quite figured out what I am telling my crew about Atlas. They probably figured he is a new crew member so when he doesn't return home with us, concern might sweep through the crew.

Maybe I can say he stole something, or committed a crime? No, he wouldn't, and I would give him to Warren, not kick him off the ship.

What if he realized that his true dreams lay in The North? I can say that I wasn't going to stand in his way. Okay that's just stupid, no one wants to be in stuck here forever, especially not for a dream, dreams come here to die, not come true.

This brings up the question, why would a guard want to bring a prince here to be safe, I can't imagine how the prince could possible be fine with living here for the rest of his life. So many questions to ask, and no one to answer them.

I'll come up with something later, right now I could eat a whole village with how hungry I am. I walk down to the main deck and off to the dining cabin. This is where the food gets cooked to the best of its abilities and then we take it down to the dining hall. I am last to get my food, as usual. Sometimes they will just bring me food to eat in the navigation room or my office.

"Maeve, what did you make for us today?" I ask, looking at the stew we seem to eat more than anything else.

"You ask everyday, and it hasn't really changed. No to mention you can clearly see what filth brew I have made. At least now we have some extra spices to make it a fancy filth brew." She says and smiles.

"Always a pleasure Maeve." I say, grabbing my stew.

Someone grabs my arm then lets go quickly. I turn to see Altas standing there, his eyes are darting all over the place. What the hells is his issue?

I widen my eyes in a question to him, "Yes?" I say.

"Can we talk?" He looks around crossing his arms. "In private."

I let out a low grumble. "Do we have to?"

I don't even need him to respond, his facial reaction is enough. I motion away from the kitchen. We walk down the steps, I make sure not to spill my food. I don't care what he needs, I am hungry so I am eating. If I lose any more weight I might float away, if not for the training there would be nothing on me but skin. The life of living on a ship.
