Chapter 7

P.O.V Emory

I was tired, like really tired, Will was so hard on me last night, and I love him for that, the boat was anchored in the middle of the Atlantic, it was still early in the morning when I left the room, I went to the kitchen to get some food and made my way to the end of the yacht and ate my sandwich ,the view was amazing , the sun already had risen and the wind was a bit cold but it wasn't going to rain , it was a beautiful sunny day .

After a while, I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see Will and Damon in swim shorts "Come on Emory, let's go swimming" Will held my hand and pulled me to jump on his back , I laughed and wrapped my arms and legs around him and he ran with me, Damon running behind us, to where everyone was including the children , Will put me down near the fence and jumped into the ocean , Michael ran pass me with Rika screaming in his arms and jumped as well , Alice refused to go so Ivar jumped without her and she stayed by Winter's side.

Gunnar, Octavia, and Madden were eating at the table near the pool "Where is Indie?" I asked Alice, who was closer to me, "She's sleeping, Ms. ..." she turned to Winter and whispered something in her ear and Winter whispered something back. "...Emory," Alice smiled. I smiled back at her and turned to watch them. Kai and Banks showed up a while after, Banks was glowing and Kai had a mischievous smile on his face, they talked with the kids, and I heard Madden asking him "Am I getting another sibling?" Bank's face turned red, and Kai laughed "I would like that, we're the only ones with two children" Kai said and Banks answers back "Yeah and nine dogs, two snakes and a Damon"

"I heard that!" Damon said, going up the stairs, Will, Rika and Michael behind, they went to the shower near the pool to rinse the salty water then got inside of the pool, except for Damon that stayed outside, taking Octavia off Madden's lap, sitting in a chair, and holding her in his lap, Octavia laughed and hugged her father, and he couldn't hide his smile. Alice guided Winter to my side and stayed near in case Winter needed since Damon was busy, Ivarsen was still in the water, and I was looking after him when I heard Winter ask

"Can I borrow your phone?" strange, how is she going to use my phone "Sorry Winter, but it is in my room, do you want me to go get yours?" she tilted her head and smiled, the same way that Damon does when he's plotting something and I give a step back and she comes closer to me , I give another step back , almost at the edge

"Aunt Emory, be careful" I hear Ivarsen scream, everyone looks at us

P.O.V Narrator

The atmosphere at that moment was tense, Winter's idea of revenge was just to scare and not hurt anyone, Will was out of the pool ready to pull Winter back, Damon was ready to hold Will, because he knew Winter's idea wouldn't hurt Emory.

Everything happened so fast, Winter pushed Emory into the water, Alice tried to hold Emory's hand but was pulled into the water with her, Will pulled Winter back making Damon reach out for him to pull her into his arms, everyone screamed at the same time. it the water, everything was okay with Emory, Ivar was near where she fell and was able to pull her up quickly and distracting himself with his aunt, he didn't see that Alice fell too, he was helping his aunt go up the stairs when they heard Octavia asking with worry in her voice

"WHERE IS ALICE?"

Panic field his mind, he looked around and saw bubbles in the water, diving in the water, he saw her and quickly swam to her, pulling her back to the surface, she wasn't breathing

"DAD! HELP ME" Ivar screamed while swimming in the direction of the stairs, trying to lift her up. Damon pulled Alice back into the yacht and Ivar came up right after, he started doing CPR on her, Winter was shaking in Octavia's arms, Ivarsen started crying " Don't panic now Ivarsen , come on , do a mouth to mouth resuscitation" Damon said to his son and he did what has been instructed , Alice started to cough and opened her eyes , Ivar took a deep breath and pulled her to his arms and away from the edge whispering in her ear that everything was okay and that she was safe.
