"I KISSED RORY GILMORE." Rosemarys confused expression as to why Tristan pulled the car over out of nowhere on the way to school morphed into a shocked and bewildered face at her friends confession."You what!" Rosemary exclaimed, shocked at the words that just came out of Tristan's mouth. "When?" How did she not know this? Why was Tristan just telling her now? Wasn't he dating that blonde girl. Wait no, brunette. Wait what was her name again? You know what, never mind.
Rosemary flinched in her seat and tried to turn immediately to face her the blonde but her seat belt wouldn't budge. She rammed her shoulder into the seatbelt twice hoping it would eventually move but it didn't so she resorted to unbuckling her seatbelt.
Tristan watched the girl with dread and anticipation to what her reaction would be. Rosemary herself didn't know what her own reaction was.
She wanted to approach the situation cautiously. What was she supposed to say? As much as she loved Rory and she would defend her, but even while Rosemary was trying to keep an open hopeful mind knew that the kiss with Tristan was just a rebound reaction from her break up with Dean.
"Rosemary say something. Your scaring me." His eyes held so much anxiety that Rosemary had to glance away. "Well what did the kiss mean?"
Tristan suddenly felt like he was put on the spot and wanted to run as far away from the car as he could. Before he could rip the door off it's hinges and run the way to school, he answered a lie. "Nothing, we were both going through a break up. We just used each other as rebounds." He said quickly, avoiding eye contact.
"What was it to you, really?" Rosemary asked again. Hoping to receive a better and more honest answer. "I dont know. All I know is that it ment nothing to her so what i feel means nothing." He smiled but Rosemary could see the sadness spreading across his face.
She was at a loss for words. As much as she wanted to help, there was nothing to say to her friend to make him feel better. Rory was still emotionally taken by Dean and as far as Rose knew, there was no return of the feelings Tristan held for the Gilmore girl.
"Oh we'll look at the time. We're going to be late." Tristan changed the subject, getting sick and tired of the still silence. "I'm sorry." Rosemary frowned as he began to dive the distance to the school. Rosemary wished she could say so much more but she didn't know what would help make him feel better.
Tristan sent his best friend a thankful smile before turning back to the road, leaving a Rosemary to worry about her best friends heart .
"I love you Rosie." Rosemary smiled. "I love you too Tristan."

"Who's in your group for the government project?" Rosemary looked up from her book, leaning off of the library's bookshelf so she could face the male in front of her. Elijah straightened up as he noticed Rosemary fix her posture upon noticing the boy.
"Oh, uh i'm with Paris, Rory, Tristan-" She started but was cut off.
"Louise and Madeline right?" Rosemary shook off her offense over the fact that he cut her off and nodded her head. "Yeah. How did you know that?"
Elijah thought about his answer for a few seconds. Not wanting to sound like a stalker. "We're in the same class." Rosemarys mouth dropped and immediately felt guilty and stupid for not remembering.
"Right!" The brunette said quickly as if she knew all along. Elijah watched the girl with an amused smile on his face. He knew she wasn't telling the truth but decided to brush it off. "It's okay if you don't remember, we've only been going to school together for... ten years."
Rosemary winced as the conversation turned awkward. Much to Rosies delighted surprise, it was an annoyed Paris who came to her rescue. But then again, when was Paris not annoyed at school.
As soon as she noticed Rosemary she stopped in her tracks and made where the two stood her next destination.
Elijah opened his mouth to attempt to start another conversation but Paris beat him too it. "Rose, what are you doing? we were supposed to meet over there five minutes ago." She pointed to the back of the library where a almost fully occupied table sat. Elijah was startled at the sound of the the geller girl so he flinched and faced her immediately.
"Oh i'm sorry, I didn't mean to distract you." Rosemary shook her head and tried to reassure him that it was perfectly fine and she was going to be late either way. "Yeah, well next time Don't." Paris glared at the brunette before dragging Rosemary away from his confused look and towards the table in the back that held their friends.
"Okay." Paris sighed, slamming her books down making the majority of the group jump in their places. "Let's get started." Rosemary hesitantly sat on Tristan's left side. His right was taken by Rory.
Tristan sent the girl a soft smile as she sat down but turned away once he noticed that Paris was getting frustrated with Madeline and Louise and he didn't want them to be her next target.
Which he knew would lead him getting all of the fire because everyone knows Rosemary was the one person in the whole entire school that Paris would never get mad at.
Once Tristan refocused his attention to the rest of the group, Rory made eye contact with the brunette and smiled largely. Rosemary returned the smile then her eyes flashed between the blonde on her right and Rory herself, reminding her of what Tristan had told her just this morning in there car ride to school.
She then paused.
Why didn't Rory tell her what happened? Why does no one tell her anything important. Rosemary was sick and tired of being left out of the Chilton Drama. Her only source of drama was from Paris and no one tells Paris anything. Much like no one tells Rosemary herself anything. Goodness, they were a match made in heaven... well Chilton.
Paris and Rosemary gossiping about the things that happened three months ago but no one told them
