I stood there awkwardly as I faced the Voidbend Kingdom's crown prince, who is also my fiancé.

'I do find it odd that I could not sense him coming near me.' I said to Siva and Styrmir.

'It is strange but I also don't feel any bad intent from him.' Styrmir looked at him, unconvinced.

'I agree, neither does he have a murderous aura. The wind spirits are telling me that he is a good man.' Siva added.

"For formalities sake, I am Euphemia. I prefer to be addressed as Euphemia Crestbreeze, nice to meet you." I said.

I then turned my back on him but something he said caught my attention.

"I see that you are looking for the nest." He said, amused.

I turned around and glared at this young lad,

"...What are you? I should have felt your presence if you were around a specific radius. The fact that I could not sense you means you aren't a normal person. Yes, indeed I am looking for the nest but that doesn't appease my unease." 

" I could take you to where the nest is but you must know that it isn't ready. There is a barrier that even you won't be able to seal just yet unless it has hatched. Also, I do hope you find out about it soon but now is not the time." He said and began walking in the direction of where the forest was.

I was not satisfied but there's something with what he said that made me believe so, I am uncertain of what it is but I will have to trust my senses for now.

I kept my guard up as with each step deeper we get into the forest and soon enough we reached what I have dreaded. The Nest.

"Why on engimatia is it so close to the Academy grounds?!" I expressed, irritated with the situation.

" I thought of the same thing, it would be easy to close it up unless there would be students in the way. At the same time, we cannot announce it to the public to avoid this area for not only will this trigger the idiots to explore it all the more, but it would also raise havoc if they ever find out and the casualties would rise. "

Nodding my head with what he has said, I also would have preferred if this was not disclosed to the public. Even in Crestbreeze, there would always be overly heroic students that think that they are strong enough to do it on behalf of others for righteous duties and to protect the people they love so they opt to sacrifice themselves. 

Though I do find it charming, I rather for them to stay put especially if they truly are not capable of it. God gave you one life for you to live it to the best of your abilities and that does not include fruitless heroism. That is why the quote, Know yourself is important

It is the same concept as running into war, you are just in your gear meanwhile you are up against a tank. It's not like the anime world where the more you shout, the more power you will gain. Life does not function that way.

Or attempting to save someone from drowning knowing you can't swim either. That way two lives are lost.

"Do you have any idea when this nest would hatch?" I asked the young lad.

"The estimate is a little over two weeks." 

"But that's around the time where the tournaments end and maybe the end ball???"

"Exactly, then it means that this nest was purposely placed here exactly for that reason. To strike when the ball begins as this is where the most concentrated population of students gather as it is required attendance."

The only person I could think of that is capable of doing this is none other than the pawn herself, Rhoshit. *sigh* You wretched witch, you are making my life harder just by existing.

' Euphie-chan~ ? '

'Where are you~??'

'We have snacks, Euphie! You must hurry before this stupid herb gets it! Stop it Herb!'

I could hear my friends calling out for me and it seems like Mara is getting mad at Basil again.

" I thank you for the information you have given me. It was well sufficient but I must go now. If you will excuse me. " I curtsied and turned around.

" I'm still not giving up. "

"..Excuse me?"

" I said, I'm not giving up. We will still pursue you regardless of your rejection."

" My..you are quite shameless aren't you? Well then, I shall spare you the effort by telling you this now. I am already affianced. I am very much in love with someone else and have already promised them my hand in marriage. They are much more talented and stronger than you so please do stop. " I bit and left.

*huff* *huff* *huff*

"Ah, Euphie-chan! There you are!" Ryza perked up and crushed me in a hug.

Selina took a step back and glanced at me from the toe up with her hands on her mouth and eyes that radiated a proud mother.

"You are absolutely beautiful!" She gushed and hugged me as well.

"You all are very lovely as well." I smiled.

"I got your favorite flavored cake! Herb tried to fucking steal it, he's a pain in the ass." He cursed while kicking him in the behind.

"Hey.." he pouted.

"Where have you been, Euphie-chan? You don't usually not respond unless you were caught up?" Ty worried.

"Oh, I was just taking care of a few...obstructions." I waved off.

"Is that so? Then I'm glad it isn't anything bad." He sighed with relief and then told me that Albercht was asking for my presence to talk about a few concerns before he leaves/

-Third Person's POV-

After seeing Euphemia's figure disappear further away, he couldn't help but smile.

"You guys can come out now, she has already left." He said in between chuckles.

"I'm glad our beloved remembers our promise, don't you all agree?" Sorin mused.

" I have reached euphoria~" Olysseus chimed.

" She's as adorable as I remember." Zyphyr daydreamed.

" Her glare still arouses me to this day, ah~ how much I love our future wife. " Kassius gleamed.

" Whether she might be an immortal or mortal she's still as perfect as she has always been." Enos nodded his head in agreement with himself.

" Not to mention her lovely voice, even when she's mad, I would still love to hear it..but I prefer her calling out our names instead, no? " Eros smirked.

" Now Now, we must stay focused. Don't forget that she said that she loves us and how she didn't hesitate to say that she will marry us. " Silas said proudly." 

" Though, she also said that we are practically weak as of now." Wyland added.

"...We'll sort that out later."

"Agreed." All of them expressed.
