Augustus Blake, who usually refers to himself as Oggy to some people stumbled as he steps out of the fireplace. It has been a long day since he talked with the Dursley family. He still could not believe the whole information he managed to get. The number of reports he is going to submit will be long, especially knowing that the little boy is a parselmouth.

Their aunt was a little worried when Augustus informed her that Harry shouldn't talk around with snakes so casually, especially in public. Being able to speak snakes comes with a heavy stigma due to the last wizarding war in Europe. Although the United States may not be concerned about this, since the family is British and the fact that Harry and Iris are related to the Potters, Harry might suffer some backlash from other people just because he can talk to a snake.

Augustus also discovered the reason why it was hard for him to find the source of accidental magic. There was a ward around them. That ward was powerful that even Augustus will have trouble trying to remove it. Luckily it seems to be in a timer, which means it will be released when the children are of age enough to go to a magic school. He decided not to tell Petunia Dursley about it as it can be scary for no-maj to learn if they have been put under a spell. No-maj often can question whether their mind, behavior, or actions were influenced by magic or not and this can drive them crazy. But whoever made this ward made it seem like it was trying to get people – especially magic people – away from the Dursleys.

His suit is now covered in soot. He never really liked doing the floo since it's a bit messy to travel but it was safer transportation than apparating and less risky than flying (flying is considered risky under the statute of secrecy if they were noticed by the no-majs). It was time to let go of his professional look anyway.

He looked around the furnished room. On the outside, it looked like any high-class condo in New York but it is a manor.

"COUSIN!" He bellowed but screamed when a large ball of fire was launched at him.

"WHAT?" An annoyed voice yelled.

"Nice to see you too," Oggy mumbled as he stood up and brush off the dirt from his clothes.

His cousin, Ignatius walked the stairs while glaring at him. He looked like he just woken up. His dark hair, pale skin, and silver eyes were all visible but what Oggy could not believe is that his cousin looked healthy, healthier than he has ever been.

"So, the ritual was a success?"

"It was," Ignatius answered.

Ignatius Peverell has been living his whole life in the manor. He is in his late thirties, older than his younger cousin who is currently working for MACUSA. He stayed mostly in the manor and do his research and experiments but because it is usually very painful to even walk around properly, going out alone is difficult.

The Peverells are one of the oldest magical families in the world whose origins are believed to be back in Britain whose leylines are so close to the surface that they have the advantage to feel and get more magic around them. But their line is extinct or so many thought. They are close to extinction. And the reason for this is the bloodline curse. The curse that he and his whole family has inherited can all be traced back to the so-called legend about the three brothers of Peverell. Many people thought this is a legend but for the Peverells, this is considered true and Ignatius Peverell is said to be part of the line of the eldest brother, Antioch (A/N: The second born married with the Slytherin line, and the third born is through the Potter line).

Antioch was murdered because of the elder wand. However, the person who murdered him was not just some random person who heard about his wand in a bar where Antioch has supposedly bragged about the wand but no other than his own best friend.
