Please read through this chapter carefully, as stories that fail to follow our guidelines may result in not being considered.
The most creative stories will be acknowledged by being added to our reading lists and the author will be given a shout-out, so you may want to put your best foot forward.
We encourage you to comment the link to your story in the specific prompt chapter and only submissions made this way will be considered.
The Challenge prompts will be posted at the beginning of each month as a chapter in this book.
We will provide prompts from a specific category every month, but you're free to mix up sub-categories, so you have the opportunity to try out different genres of writing, or simply have fun writing what you're used to.
Stories must be relevant to the given prompt. We cannot accept stories that are not written specifically for Challenges.
Only stand-alone entries will be considered. Simply put, the story must be new and not part of an existing series.
You may publish the story as a part of a short story collection, however.
You are allowed to co-write with someone else, but we won't add the same story twice if both of you choose to publish it on your respective profiles. Only the first submitted version of the story will be considered.
