You really didn't feel like dealing with the whole roommate thing after finding out you'd hurt your only close friend, but you had to suck it up - Wonwoo was waiting for you after all.

When you walked up to the front desk, Wonwoo glanced at you briefly before turning and walking to the reception, getting the ladies attention. Once he'd explained the basic situation, the receptionist started typing and clicking through files before giving you an answer: "It seems like this happened because of a last minute change and your preferences - Sora - were overlooked as it was the only free space. Fact remains that it's the only free space so this can't be fixed immediately unless one of you finds someone willing to swap rooms. But, I can note both of your emails and let you know when a room frees up if you'd like?" You both look at eachother and nod in agreement - you definitely didn't know anyone who would swap and by the looks of it neither did he.

Since that was essentially sorted, you say your thank yous and head back to your room. The silence felt a little awkward so you decided on interrupting it. "How do you feel about this now? Are you okay sharing with me for the time being?"

"Well I didn't say I had a preference when I chose this accommodation so I never had much of an issue with it in the first place, so yeah I'm totally okay with it." You didn't quite believe him as he had a sort of contemplatory look on his face but you decided not to press any further - there wasn't anything you could do about it anyways.

"How about you?" he continued, "How are you feeling about it?"

"I think I've gotten over the initial shock and now I've realised I don't think it's that big of a deal? I was worried about living with some creepy dude but you're far from that from what I've seen!"

The conversation died down again and he pulled out his phone, the concerned look still plastered across his face. You could tell he was messaging someone but you didn't really know who he was friends with so you didn't think much of it. Soon enough, though, you were back at your room and got to crash on your bed for a bit.

A couple of minutes after getting back, you notice Wonwoo looking over at you, still with the same face as before. "I understand if you don't want to get into it now because your shift is soon, but is something wrong?" he asks, "You've been looking a bit down since talking to Chaewon."

"Ah.. When did you notice?"

"Basically as soon as you came back in - I didn't want to ask then because we were in public and stuff,,"

"Well," You take a second to search your brain for a way to say this without getting too upset again, "Chaewon is angry at me pretty much because I've been a bad friend. She's quite sensitive about some things - and I don't mean that in a malicious way at all - but I've been overlooking that and acting sort of selfishly. I'm gonna try to talk to her tomorrow when I have time because I only haaaave.." You take out your phone and check the time but end up seeing a message from your manager.

MANAGER!!: Hi Sora, we're training a new hire today so I've asked a more experienced employee to cover your shift and teach them the ropes. Let me know if you want an extra shift to make up for this. Thanks.

"Never mind," you laugh softly, "My shift got cancelled.. I guess that's a good thing."

"Do you think you'll talk to Chaewon tonight then? To sort things sooner?"

"To be honest, I need some more time to collect my thoughts." You stare into space for a bit before getting an idea: "Actually, do you want to do something tonight? I think it'd help me get my mind off things."

"I'm not busy - what did you have in mind?"

"Getting drunk."
