The rest of that Wednesday felt like it went on forever for Wonwoo. He knew that you were blaming yourself, and that it was entirely his fault that you'd left dorms to go home for the night. He didn't like looking over to your bed and seeing it empty, and he didn't like how bare the bathroom looked now that none of your skincare was on the shelves. It was so strange for him to be feeling this way that he forgot to go back to Dokyeom's room - he wasted time playing games and scrolling through Instagram, but just ended up looking at the post from when the two of you were drunk. Eventually, he decided to just get an early night so he wouldn't be up thinking about it.
Being home really made it feel like you could unwind properly. Obviously, some things were still on your mind but it was definitely the right decision to take some time away from it all. Your dad's cooking was so tasty and you didn't have to worry about cleaning up, you could just sit and chat with your sister while watching some TV. She really seems to be enjoying having a room to herself - as you'd expected - but told you over and over how weird it was to not have you around. Before you knew it, it was time to go to bed so you could get up early enough for your 9am lecture. You drowsily went up to you and your sister's bedroom and drifted off to sleep after saying goodnight.
In the morning, your dad woke you up at 7:30, being careful not to wake Soyeon too. You went down to find breakfast awaiting you, and ate it eagerly before looking around to find your schedule only to realise.. It wasn't anywhere. You'd left it at your dorm. You doubted Wonwoo would be up at this time and you didn't really feel like talking to him either but it was worth a shot.
AhnSora: Hey, I think I left my schedule on my desk and I don't know the room I'm meant to be going to, if it's there can you send me a picture?

Well, that was surprising. Maybe he has a morning lecture too, hopefully he won't badmouth you to Chaewon if that's the case.
You finish getting ready and pack up your stuff before setting off to your lecture. This whole experience sort of made you glad you moved into dorms rather than staying home - the idea of having to commute every day seemed very off putting now. But of course, the drive with your dad was lovely and peaceful - he made sure you were back to being okay before sending you off to your lecture.
The lecture was nothing remarkable, it was the first one for this module so it was a lot of intro stuff but at least you got to see some new faces. It didn't seem to drag on for too long and your notes were relatively organised, for once. Today was a really pleasant day - there was a light autumn breeze and the sun wasn't too hot, so on the way back to dorms you decided to take a little detour and head to a cafe. It was a nicely decorated coffee shop with plants scattered all over the place, and it felt very inviting overall. You usually didn't spare yourself time for things like these but figured you deserved a treat.
Once you'd finished there and started your walk back, your stomach twisted at the thought of finally talking to Wonwoo - admittedly you'd just refused to think about it for the past while. As you get to the door, you open it reluctantly only to find he isn't there. This doesn't change how worried you feel, because now you have to sit and wait anxiously for his return. You only had an hour until you had to leave for another lecture but you desperately wanted to get this conversation out of the way. To waste some time, you took all of your overnight stuff out of your bag and placed them back into their respective places - it didn't take as long as you'd hoped so you were back to doing nothing again, until the door opened.
You jolted up, expecting to see Wonwoo at the door, but instead there was some guy you didn't recognise. In shock, you just sort of looked at him with a confused face.
"Oh.. Wonwoo isn't here? You must be Sora - my name's Dokyeom, nice to meet you!" He says as he makes his way in and extends his hand to you. You shake it gently, still looking a bit bewildered. "Is it okay if I wait here for a bit? I'm pretty sure he should be back soon, I just need to give him his switch from yesterday." he laughed.
"Ahhh are you the friend he went to see before I left.. I see."
"You went somewhere yesterday? I thought he talked to you when he went to grab his phone yesterday cause he never came back to my room?"
"I did see him on the way out but I didn't have time to talk to him so I just let him know I was leaving for the night, that's all that was said really."
"Did he really not apologise to you? He's so stubborn sometimes." He sighs.
"Oh I guess he told you about yesterday, you must not think I'm too great of a person then." you say, looking down into your lap.
"No it's not like that at all! As soon as he told me the story I asked if he thought he overreacted and he agreed that he did so I assumed he would've explained himself if he bumped into you."
"I don't think I really gave him the chance to, I was feeling pretty upset with myself and my dad was waiting for me so I sort of rushed off as soon as I could. He just said he wanted to apologise properly so he'd talk to me sometime today."
"I really don't think you did anything wrong, you asked one time which was fair, the second you were drunk, and who doesn't eavesdrop a little bit?" You felt very comfortable talking to him, he seemed reasonable and it was nice to hear it from his perspective.
"Hey DK, are you done gossiping about me?" Wonwoo said with a grin as he walked through the door.
"See everyone eavesdrops a bit!!" he retorts. "I only came to give your switch back, but Sora is actually really sweet so don't mess this up, man! See you guys later." He quickly made his exit and went back down the corridor to his room.
Wonwoo was wearing a simple outfit with a white t-shirt and beige trousers, and had his glasses on. "Have you just come back from a lecture? You're looking very studious today." you asked.
"Yeah I did - how was your trip home? How are you feeling now?"
"It was good to see my family and I got to unwind a bit, so it was nice. Did you get up to much while I was gone?"
"Literally nothing. I just sat in bed and played games on my phone, it was really boring without you around."
"I seeee I see," you said with a smile. It was nice to know you were missed even if it was just a little bit. "By the way, you really don't need to apologise. Dokyeom kinda told me your point of view since you talked to him and I get it so please don't worry."
"I'm still sorry though, I was really harsh on you and left you upset rather than thinking it through before I acted, it was immature of me. I really did miss you while you were gone and I never want to make you feel tense living with me."
"Thank you, Wonwoo. That means a lot.. Ah I need to get going to my lecture so I'll see you later if you're around!"
"Wait, do you want me to walk you there?"
