Part 47: Surprise(2)

*March 19th Sunday 3:45 p.m.*
*Still Y/N's POV*

Nick and I had got the shirts and we were getting dressed. I let my hair be natural today, so I just brushed it. Then I did light makeup.

We then put a sweater over it so we can get past everyone as well as so Nick's mom won't know right as we got there.

I've met her before and she seems to really like me and I really like her. But this was a whole different situation. Nick had texted to see if we could come over and she said yes. We got her a shirt as well.

We got everything we needed then left the house. Without anyone suspecting a thing. We both got into Nicks car, he was driving. Before reaching Mrs. Johnson's house we got coffee. (A/N for the story their last name is Johnson and Nick's mom's name is Carol. I hope that doesn't upset anyone.) Nick pulled into her driveway. I think he could tell the distress on my face.

"I think she will be happy babe," Nick said unbuckling himself.

He got out as I tried to calm my breathing. As I was unbuckling Nick opened the passenger door. I handed him the coffee and I grabbed the gift bag that had the shirt. Carol was already standing in front of her door.

"Hey mom," Nick said as he shut my door. "Oh I've missed you!" She said running up to him and hugging him tight. She let go of the hug as she saw me. "I'm so happy you two came over!" She said pulling me into a hug. I hugged her tight. "I am too," I said matching her energy. "Here you go mom," Nick said handing Carol a coffee from Starbucks.

We all went inside. Nick handed me my coffee and took his, he threw away the carrier then sat back down next to me. We both looked at each other then unzipped our jackets taking them off. Carol was talking so she didn't notice immediately. After a minute or two she noticed our shirts.

She began mumbling as she read them. "Here I have something for you." I said grabbing the gift bag handing it to her. She looked at me skeptical, then opened it. She read the shirt as tears threatened to fall. "You are pregnant?" She said to me tilting her head. "Mhm," I said nodding my head. "Oooh! I'm going to be a grandma!" She said excitedly.

I got up and walked over to her giving her a hug. Nick soon came over as well. After a minute or so we stopped hugging.

"When did you find out?" Carol asked. "This morning, I'm trying to schedule a doctor appointment not during school. But it may be my only option." I said after I sat back down on the couch. "That is good, you're planing on keeping the baby. Yes?" Carol asked concerned. "Mrs. Johnson, we would not be telling anyone if not. I think even though we aren't out of high school we have god income. And can afford everything we will need for our baby." I said with a smile. "Please, call me Carol, and I agree. Nick, what are your thoughts?" She asked. "Y/N and my room are a crossed the hall from one another. We are thinking of making my room into a nursery." Nick said giving his mother a bright smile. "Are you going to find out the gender?" She asked. "Well, I would want to but I don't know," I said looking at Nick. "We might. Y/N and I haven't talked about it yet, I think we will end up talking about it after she sees a doctor" Nick responded quickly. "Yes, yes! I understand. Y/N, what do your parents think about this?" Carol asked. "They are both excited to become grandparents. I think a little disappointed that we are so young. But we are adults so they are laid back about it." I responded.

We talked for another thirty minuets or so. Until about 4:30. Nick and I said goodbye then left. I had to pick Copper up from the groomers so Nick drove there. He stayed in the car as I went inside. I walked into Pet smart and to the grooming area.

"Hello, are you here to pick up or drop off an animal?" The girl behind the desk asked. "I'm here to pick up Copper." I responded with a smile. "Okay, what is your name?" She asked. "Y/N Y/L/N," I responded. "Okay! I will go get him." The girl said then disappeared to the back.

She soon reappeared with copper on his leash. She handed him to me and I thanked her then paid. I walked out of the grooming salon. And began to walk to the exit. As soon as I was out side of PetSmart I went to the car. I put Copper in the back seat then got into the passenger seat. Nick drove us home. I got out of the car and grabbed Copper. Nick and I went inside and to my room.

I sat next to my window placing Copper on the floor. Nick sat down next to me. We began to talk about the baby.

"So do you want to tell everyone in the house?" Nick asked rubbing my back. "I don't know, I think for now, I want just you, me, Niki, and our parents knowing until maybe school is out?" I responded looking up at him. "Okay," Nick said with a smile. "The only thing is, I still have to stream. Later in the pregnancy how will I hide the bump?" I said beginning to bite the inside of my lip. "I bet you could just not use face cam, or hide it with the table." Nick suggested. "That is true," I said laying my head down on his shoulder. "I have scheduled the doctors appointment, would you like to go?" I asked. "I would love to." Nick said kissing my forehead. "It is Friday after school." I responded.

I think this 'book' is coming to an end. But there will be a book 2! I don't think Y/N will give birth this book. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'm planing on only 50 parts per book. Also, I think I need a mental health day or two. I'm not in a good mental state rn. I hope you under stand. I'm so sorry<3
