We were having dinner at 5 because some people were going to bed really early. Dad and father insisted on getting a cake even after my protesting. I have no idea what the cake looks like or what the theme of it is. I was scrolling on twitter for a while when I got a text.

I turned off my phone and slipped it into my back pocket. I picked up Copper and walked downstairs. "Hey Y/N! Just in time because we just finished food." Niki said excitedly from the kitchen. "Okay! Let me just give Copper some food." I said about to go back upstairs. "Oh Y/N! He has another food and water bowl for down here." Dad said a few feet from me. "Oh okay, where is it?" I asked turning around. "Here follow me I'll show you." Father said getting up from the couch. I followed him into the dining room. There was a food and water bowl that was already filled sitting there. "Okay thank you!" I said giving father a side hug.
I couldn't give him a normal hug because I was still holding Copper. The bowls were by my chair. Although it was not verbally said, we all had our own seats. We always sat in the same ones. Unless we were mad at someone we sat next to. In that case we would either sit in a seat no one ever sat in or asked to switch that night with someone.
Wilbur brought over the food for dinner and yelled out to everyone saying diner was ready. As everyone walked in I placed Copper down in front of the food bowl. I then sat down at my chair. I had Nick to my left and Niki to my right.

We all began eating and talking. Everyone wished me happy birthday even if they had already done so today. Halfway through dinner Copper was at my feet winning. I figured he needed to go to the bathroom so I excused myself. I picked Copper up and walked into the backyard. Dad told me they were installing a doggy door hopefully tomorrow. Copper went pee then came running back inside. I walked back to the table, and to my surprise Copper followed. I sat back down and Copper curled up between Nick and I. We all finished eating but stayed at the table talking for a little. We then all cleaned up. Cleared the table, whipped it down, did the dishes and threw away anything that wouldn't be good tomorrow. Once we finished cleaning Father and Dad demanded everyone out of the kitchen and to sit at the table. We all listened and sat in our seats.
