New York Chapter 1

Addisons POV:

               "Alyssa, where are we going?" I said blindfolded. "Just wait we are almost there." she said. "Ugh" I grunted "it's been like 3 hours" I said whining. "Addi it's been 10 minutes" she said rolling her eyes. "And be exited we are going to have fun tonight", she said. I am very scared because when Lyss says she has a surprise its usually a prank. Tonight, better be great because it's my birthday and really don't want to be embarrassed. Hopefully we get there soon all I know is my boyfriend Josh is there. We have been dating for 8 months now and he is the best, he is also at NYU but he's there for engineering and mechanics. " lyss how much longer. " I whined again. The car stopped but I couldn't tell if we are there or not and so, I peeked out of my blindfold, and she took me too... "A bar!" I screamed. "Wow I thought it was going to be a small get together and so I was shocked when you took my blindfold off and just wow! "I know I said a small get together, but I thought your 23 birthday should be fun." she told me. 

           When we got inside, I saw Josh and I ran over and kissed him, and he seemed strange tonight he was not acting like himself. " Babe is everything ok? Did I do something? I asked nervously. "No, it's not you I just had a bad day at school." I got suspicious because he took his last exams for the semester last week. "Oh, ok gotcha." trying not to sound suspicious.

          We walked around the bar and then we had VIP tickets for the club and so we went to the club in the back and surprisingly it was boring people were already so drunk that if we went to watch a movie it would have been much better. " We should go. "These people are drunk, and I don't want a hangover in the morning." I said board. "Ok let go to the bowling alley or go shopping." Lyss said. " Ok, Josh do you want to just come over tonight and just us will hang out and watch a movie or something?" I asked. "Yeah, sure I'll be there around 8." "Ok. I love you." "Love you too." he still sounded upset. 

         "Ooo I love this oh and this!" I spoke while shopping. "We totally have to get this!" Lyss exclaimed while holding up a pair of bedazzled high-tops." You should totally get those." We looked around for a long while at different shops and then I went back to my apartment around 7:45 P.M. so I had plenty of time to clean before josh got there. 

           *Ring Ring Ring* I had three missed calls from Josh and so I called him back and he answered on the first ring. " Hey, are you coming soon?"  I asked. "No actually something came up and I have to ask something that might sound stupid." "What?" I asked anxiously. He responded with "Do you still love me?" " Josh are you being serious Of course I still love you I have always loved you. " "Well, ok I think that answers my question. We need to break up." Josh wait what are you talking about?"  "I'm talking about the fact that I am not feeling the same way anymore and also I am a cheater. I'm so sorry Addi but she and i were both drunk an-" "LEAVE MY APPARTMENT NOW!! I don't want to see you or talk to you ever again."  I said sobbing. 

           I picked up my phone to call Alyssa and then I quickly blocked and deleted Josh's number from my phone. "Lyss, I need you to come over ASAP!" I texted. "OMW!" she replied 

         She arrived and I told her everything that happened, and she and I agreed to throw all of his stuff away. "I can't believe what he did to you." she said. "I know right. I thought I was in a healthy relationship, but it turned out to be a train wreck." 

       We ordered a pizza and watched New Girl on Netflix and that helped a little bit but not fully. "Hey Addi, I have a question for you." "OK?" I said intrigued. "So, there is this party in two weeks in Auburn Alabama and I was wondering if you'd go with me so you won't be lonely and so I won't be lonely?" I wanted to say No but my party girl heart said, "HELL yes let's go!"
