/Time Skip To The Recording Of Paul's Boutique/

I hadn't seen the other two boys yet. I've actually been exploring the area that we're in. I even got a job! It's a job at a clothing store, so now I don't need to rely on MCA for everything.

The thing is that I have to go see Ad and Mike for the first time since that day after the tour. I anticipate having a hard time talking to them but I'll get through it and in no time. I feel like I'm kind of a different person now. I'm more independent, I dress differently, I've finally learned how to express myself using the clothes they make in this time! I'm doing well!

I wait for MCA to pick me up from work. I look inside my bag and use my phone without bringing it out of my bag. It's like it's frozen on the night I went to the 80s. I can refresh things all I want but everything for that day stays there. But as I'm about to try again I see MCA's car pull up out of the corner of my eye. I stand up and walk over to his car and get into the passenger's seat. I smile at him and he leans over to give me a kiss on my cheek.

"You ready?" He asked as he smiled.

"I guess... but I have no choice now." I say nervously.

I mean I obviously did have a choice but it was better to do it now. Like ripping off a band-aid.

"Okay..." He smiled.

We continued driving to the studio. Apparently they already started to record and it was going really well. MCA seemed to really believe in it. Of course I expect that he's talking about the album I want him to be. As we got closer and closer I felt the butterflies in my stomach even more.

Before I knew it we were getting out of his car and approaching the building. We were now in the studio and I was stood in front of the two boys that I hadn't seen in what felt like forever.

"Hi" I managed to squeak out to them.

"Hi" Mike responded with a smile on his face.

"Hey" Said Ad cheerfully.

This was clearly a joyous yet awkward interaction between the three of us.

"Did you guys start without me?" MCA asked breaking the silence.

"Yeah but not too much" Ad responded as he looked to Mike to get him to a agree.

Mike nodded and MCA smiled at the two of them.

They started to record some songs and gave each other input on some things. They shared ideas with each other and they looked happy to be doing this.

I heard parts of Hey Ladies. They played an early version of High Plains Drifter. And they recorded parts of some other songs.

Watching them record together made me happy and them also being happy made it even better.

I was now sitting on a couch in the studio and I stayed watching them until Ad came up to me and said he wanted to have a conversation in a place that's a bit more private. So I followed him to the empty hallway outside of the room we were all in.

"Had he brought it up to you yet?" He asked while whispering.

"Who brought up what to me yet?" I asked.

My back was now against the wall in the hallway and Ad had his left arm on the wall next to my head. He was leaning a bit close to me. It was strange to say the least.

"Had Adam brought up the house?" He whispered moving himself closer to me.

"No, Adam has not brought up a house to me" I replied snappily, he was kinda annoying me.

"We're going to get a house where all of us can live. Adam was supposed to bring it up to you. You're the last person we need the okay on it" He said lowering his voice.

"You want my permission to get a house? Why my permission?" I asked clearly confused.

"Because you'll live with us. Your opinion matters." He said while smiling at me.

"Yeah. Okay get the house then." I replied.

"Thank you!" He said loudly as he stopped leaning on the wall.

He hugged me and led me back to the recording studio. He opened the door and shut it behind us.

"She said yes! We're getting the house!" He announced to the room.

"Thank god you said yes Y/n!" Mike said smiling at me.

"No thanks to Yauch though. He didn't even bring it up to her yet!" Ad exclaimed passive aggressively.

"I forgot okay!" He said defensively, not even looking away from what he was working on to reply.

We all laughed and enjoyed the time we spent together for the rest of that day.

I just can't stop thinking about what happened between Ad and I in the hallway. The way we were so close. Kinda makes me wonder what a relationship with him would be like...
