I wish

I wish

For the world to love

For hope so few have

For a day when someone won't have to fear what monsters await them in the morning

But the thing with wishing...

Is that it is near impossible goals

Things that are fictional and will take more hard work than most can do

And they lead to lies and dead ends

That can break or make a person

I wish

For things to be simple

For it to not only be for the "fools"

For the world to not only be black and white with its complicated shades of grey

For dreams to be as real as the facts that we study so hard to learn

It is truly life greatest challenge to make a dream or wish a reality

For wishes lie and taunt like a meal does to a starving man.

But for now...

I'll still cling to the impossible goals that cling in my mind

Because without them what are you truly left with

Glaring Lies

Cruel truths

And a marred picture of the world

So I'll be okay with being a fool and take the taunts and lies that come with it

If it means I can find a way to make the change that I dream of and truly wish for.....
