Caz is waiting for Allie in front of the office in the morning. He couldn't sleep at all thinking about what he saw in her room last night.

It is not something he can bring up over the phone, nor something he can ignore. She walks up the street, looking over her shoulder as if someone is following her, noticing him until she is almost at the door.

"Hey..." Allie is surprise to see him there, he should be at work at the ranch. "Something wrong?"

"I saw the blood in your room." He goes straight to the point.

"I had an accident, that's all." Her sunny expression clouds immediately.

"I know what I saw and that is not just an accident." Caz doesn't back down but he does move to let her unlock the door.

"It's not your problem, Caz." Allie turns her back on him, this is not how she wanted to start her morning. "I already have a massive headache, you don't need to make it worst."

Caz takes her arm, not with force, not even squeezing, but it does startle her enough to turn around, wide eyed.

"I know there is something wrong." He insists.

Allie is about to shake his hand off when a low, cold, firm voices says "You better let go of her now, before I break every bone in your hand."

The look on Andy's face makes it clear he is not going to ask a second time. Allie assesses that Andy could easily do that, break no only Caz hand but his whole arm. Andy is build like a bear. One of his hands could wrap all around Caz throat. Andy is considering it. Caz looks from Allie to Andy, the tension between the two men is so thick it could be cut with a knife.

At last, Caz let's go of her.

"I am sorry." He says to Allie.

"I don't want to see you again around here."Andy opens the door to the office, and looks at Allie expectantly, a quiet order to go inside.

Her first instinct is to do that, but Caz is her friend.

"It's okay Mr. Barber," It doesn't escape Caz how her body seems to shift towards Andy's, like a sunflower seeks the sun. He doesn't think she is even aware of it. "it is all a misunderstanding. Caz, I will see you later."

Caz and Andy are not looking at her, those pairs of blue eyes so unlike each other don't even blink, unwilling to be the first one to give in.

At the end is Andy who does, not because he is the least intimidated, but because he decides Caz is not worth a second more of his time. Yet, Andy doesn't move until Allie has enter the office, only then does he give his back to his unwanted visitor and closes the door.

Allie and Andy don't talk about what just happen. He goes to his office and she stays in hers. Her heart racing in her chest. What is she going to do? She can't just ignore the fact that Lance is closing in.

Putting everyone she loves at risk.

She didn't know the kind of person Lance was back when she met him. He was older, charming, richer.

When she met him she still had the confidence, the drive, of a freshman in college. He approached her in a moment of vulnerability, invited her to a party he was throwing, the house was his dad's, and even though Allegra had never been one to care about things like popularity or being "cool" that night she wanted to pretend to be one of those girls. The ones that got all the attention, the pretty, careless and free kind. That's how she felt with him, at first. Soon, when she agreed to have sex with him, he discovered how inclined she was to be a submissive. She knew some about the bdsm lifestyle, she had enjoyed role playing with other guys before, but Lance took it to another level. He exploited her ignorance and took advantage of it. The sting of the first slap still makes her head spin. The first slap in a non sexual context, when she had asked him about a girl she saw him texting the night before, and he just slapped her without even flinching. He had apologized for it, and she already had such a messed up sense of what her role was in the relationship that she didn't even question it. After a while, he stopped apologizing. He saw her as an object that belonged to him.
