Natsu's sick

Smelly Natsu and an awkward towel convosation.

Natsu's POV

Lucy was acting strange. When I woke up she was writing something down at my desk. I was feeling a lot better so I went to see what she was doing.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and asked what it was. She simply replied with "nothing" before shoving it down her bra.

So this is were we are now. Me hugging her from behind whilst she is trying to stop me from seeing the paper.

I laugh at her. "Your so weird Luce just show me it" I say to her. She blushes scarlet and tries not to make eye contact which was easy for her since I was behind her.

I swivel her around so that she is facing me. She had no choice but to look at me.

She then utters the words I wished more than anything not to hear.

...

"You need a bath, you smell really bad"

I stood there in pure shock. Did I really smell that bad? This was so embarrassing. The girl I'm secretly in love with just told me that I smell bad.

"I'll have a bath then" I said. I didn't want to let go of her waist but I knew that I needed to bathe.

I let go and started to walk towards the bathroom.
Once I was in the doorway I could see Lucy sitting on the sofa. Book in her hand. She had picked up that book fast.

I sighed as I entered the bathroom.

Half an hour later I was ready to get out of the bath. I got out, drained the water and then started to dry myself.

Once I had finished I looked around. I gasped in shock. I had completely forgotten to get clean clothes to put on and I didn't want to put on the smelly ones.

I sighed and crept out of the bathroom and towards were I keep my clothes. hoping that I wouldn't bump into Lucy.

"Hey Natsu are you feeling... what are you doing" she shrieked, covering her eyes as she did. Just my luck, the one person I didn't want to see my in a towel, the one person I always try so hard to impress. I was still wearing my towel luckily but she was not expecting it.

'Great' I though to myself.
"You okay Luce" I asked.
She was redder than Erza's hair. I was too.

"I forgot to get clean clothes" I informed her.

"Okay" she said and walked away, bumping into things on her way.
I laughed. She looked ridiculous.

After I had changed into more respectable items of clothing I went over to Lucy. She was laying on my bed. Her eyes were shut and her breathing was steady. She was sleeping. I was feeling better now but Istill had an awful cough.

I leaned over Lucy and place my lips on her forehead. Kissing it affectionally.
I took my lips away and whispered...

"Sleep well my princess"
