"It's 4 PM, don't you go home?" i asked him after he spent hours in my bedroom reading the book from my book shelf.

"I stay here tonight." he answered without any hesitation.

"What you want to eat for dinner?" i already on the bedroom door want to go downstairs and tell Terach about dinner.

"I can eat everything." 

"Garlic?" i asked, again, just out of my curiosity.

"I'm not a vampire from cartoon network or nickelodeon, Blythe."

"We never know that vampire can eat. We always think that your kind only drink human blood." Patton open up the conversation on the dinner table.

"You guys should learn more about us, then. So we can fight the others together." Beau said.

"I'm wondering, how can you stay under the sun like this morning when you came here." Terach's question really made Jedd and Bryce shocked.

"Are you a daywalker?" Jedd asking.

"Yes, all vampires can stay under the sun." Beau explaining things and this going for an hour until we finished eating and get back to our activity.

We are back in my bedroom, this is 10 PM. I already i took a shower and now his turn to washed up, he used Jedd's clothes. Jedd is agreed that he's here to look after me until the situation is under control, Jedd even told me that he's happy that Beau is so responsible for what he's done.

"Gosh, put your shirt on!" i yell at him when he came out from the bathroom only using Jedd's black short and nothing on top.

"I don't even take a bath, i don't sweat, i just washed up my body from the dust that stick on my skin from the road and from the sun's scent."

"Put your shirt on!" i told him again.

"Why? Did i turn you on?" his question made me blushing. Why?

"It's funny that your heartbeat is faster since the second i walked out the door and even faster after i asked you that specific question." he sit next to me and stretching his arms to the air. He knew what he's doing. Trying to seduce me.

"Too bad that i can't hear your heartbeat, so it's impossible for me to know what you feeling right now."

"Our heartbeat is always on stable rhythm. We can't feel scared or calm. We just.. lived.." he describing something that make me wonder what was his feeling when his father died in front of his eyes? Did he feel the way i felt when my dad is killed by his kind? Or what?

"Let's sleep!" he lay his body on my bed and i look at my phone. "It's only 10.20, i can't sleep this early." i said.

"It's almost midnight, you should go to sleep."

"We were always practicing and go for hunting at night, so i'm not feeling sleepy until 5 or 6 in the morning." i tried to tell the routine i have. And he cuts me..

"Can we kiss?" he asked me out of nowhere.

"Hah?" i shocked and he keeps staring at my lips like he really wants to taste it.

"Can i?" he get closer and i dodge him to stand up from the bed.

I walk to the door and in my head, i know i'm gonna open the door and sleep outside somewhere between living room or maybe at Terach's room. But i lock the door instead.

I turn my back again and look at him which also startled with what i did. I walk toward him and sit on his lap and wrapped my hands around his neck and kiss his lips.
