He starring at his favorite weapon for who about 10 seconds until he found craziest idea ever.
Mateo tried so hard to carry Anthony's muscular body. With the same height and muscle all over his body, he gave his all to carry Anthony on his back. His power is running out since he ran, fell, and stood up running again for almost an hour in the heavy rain. But he pushed really hard so he can save his lover. At least he tried to save his lover.
He managed to got out the shed, and from the house, Mateo can see Anthony's brothers still sitting down on the ground while hugging each others. The villagers still doesn't show their face, not even open their door. Mateo walks towards the wood, he knows the shortcut from the river.
Once a while he leaning on the tree to rest his body and to helped Anthony's weight lighter for a while. Then he keeps walking carefully.

He already walk passed the creekside and he knew the next part is gonna be tricky. He have to walks slowly and made his appearance not seems threatening to the locals. The Loffleds.
"You know you're now in Loffled's territories, right?" said someone that Mateo can't see with only the moonlight.
"I came here with peace. I want to meet Joachin. Bring me to him." Mateo knows that Loffleds are the highest throne of all vampires. The ones who bite or kidnapped people are not from Loffleds. Loffleds are the blue-blood ones.
If he comes with peace, the Loffleds will at least hearing what he's offer.
"Peace? With that weapon?" the sound referring to the crossbow on Mateo's shoulder. Hanging side by side with Anthony.
"Here.. I left it here. I only want to talk with Joachin. Please.. I beg you. Bring me to him." never ever crossed his mind that he's begging to the vampires. As a hunter, a leader of a hunter, it's scratch his pride to begging like this. But in his mind, the only important thing is Anthony.
Mateo dropped his crossbow on the ground, along with handmade arrows that he crafted himself. Then the one who talking the whole time finally showed his face. An ordinary looking guy, with soft jawline and pretty face. Clean, light skin.
"Come with me.." he said while he leads the way to Loffled's mansion.
In front of the big dark building, there's 4 guards standing with their scary face trying to cast Mateo away. But the guy behind him gave a signal and they let Mateo passed the gate.
"What is this? Are you going to give us a midnight dish?" Joachin, stood up on the last stairs. Mateo look up and staring at his face, while still carrying Anthony on his back. Mateo is still standing on the ground and not touching the stairs yet. It's dramatic to see how his position is now below the vampire that he's always hunting all his life.
"I need your help." Mateo said slowly. With his pale face and wet clothes, he started crying again.
"Please give him an eternity life so he can lived forever. I... i can give you my blood for exchange. I can... i can let you suck dry my blood right here-right now. Please, please save him." he put Anthony's weak body on the ground, rain is still pouring but a bit lighter than before. Mateo sits on the ground, next to Anthony who dying and right away, Mateo is kneel and bow down to Joachin, asking for his help.
