We never worry about our future selves until it's too late.
We never think that it will be us.
...Never think that it will be us... Us breaking down and feeling alone. Or us bottling up feelings and thoughts. Us hiding from reality... and believing we are living life wrong. We never see it coming. Open up to the people who surround you, they love you too much to see you in pain. They care about you and think about you even if you don't know what you're doing.
We never think to look beyond.... beyond the billboards and slender figures that fog our vision. Whether you want a slimmer waist or wish you had more of 'something'... why can't we be happy with ourselves? It's time to start looking further beyond because I think all of us are perfect in our own way. But we never think that about ourselves with all this pressure to be perfect in society's eyes. Think before you get obsessed with the magazines, Photoshoped models, and crazy ads.
As a society we never think... about the harsh words that have become part of our everyday language. We are blind to the consequences of bullying, bullets, and bulimia... Until the victim commits suicide, we pull the trigger, or we become so thin that we are unrecognizable in the mirror. We never think about the impact before we can't think straight anymore. Think before you do something that'll get us all in a jam.
We never think about the ride of life... never know where a drop is or think about whether to scream with excitement or close our eyes in fear... we don't think about that because sometimes things are better left a surprise. We'll figure the small details out when they arrive. We won't know if life will go up or down right away, but as long as you're on the ride... enjoy every bit of it. Think about which track brings you the most happiness and stay on that one for the rest of your life.
