Winter was sure getting colder and colder. Honestly this might be the coldest winter yet.
"Here." Shinichiro spoke, snapping Y/n out of her daze. Giving a paper coffee cup. The two now leaning by the rails that showed the ocean view.
Both now outside the nearby coffee shop that thankfully opened 24/7. Thought it was quite idiotic on their part by going out in a cold night, dressed in their school uniforms without even thinking of bring a jacket with them.
"Thank you."
Taking a sip from the given drink, could feel it's warmth slowly go down her throat. The sweet taste of chocolate flooding through her tastebuds as she looked at the dark haired male.
"Ah, I realized I didn't really ask you what drink you'd like the moment it was my turn to give my order. So I just ordered us two hot chocolates, quite perfect for a cold night, no?"
"Yeah..." Was Y/n's only response as she looked up to the night sky.
"W-wait do you not like hot chocolate?! No need to force yourself! I can buy you a different one!" Shinichiro quickly exclaimed in a panicked tone, causing Y/n to stare at the male with a unreadable expression all over her features.
'Shinichiro Sano...'
A small chuckle left Y/n's lips. Catching the male of guard, was she really chuckling? Was the stoic girl who he's known for only a few months actually smiling?
"It's fine... It's just that, It's been awhile..."
Shinichiro couldn't tell if the next words that left her lips were mere mumbles or did his hearing go deaf as he stared at her facial features that was now graced with a soft smile with a serene look in her eyes. Her eyes were indeed so enchanting to look at.
