"Why do you keep insisting on visiting me?" Y/n repeated
"Ahh... That..." Shinichiro mumbled as he averted his gaze away from the girl's eyes. Though upon doing so, Shinichiro's eyes landed on the flowers by her bedside.
"I'm sorry, Todoroki-san doesn't really want any visitors at the moment."
"Is that so...? Can you give her these flowers then? The ones I gave last time must've started wilting already."
Maybe Shinichiro's anxiousness the past nights weren't needed.
"I wanted to make sure you were doing fine and all, I was just worried."
"I'm still alive and breathing isn't that enough?"
Shinichiro can't really lie with the girl's bluntness is so absolute. A heavy sigh left his lips as his left hand held the back of his nape.
"I don't know if your just hiding it or if your just not used to showing it. Y/n you just lost you're brother... I was worried you'd be depressed... Or maybe you'd need someone to talk to." Shinichiro nearly hesitated on what term to use instead of "lost" or if he should even bring it up, though considering how the girl, didn't cut him off, Shinichiro had simply flashed the girl a meek smile after ending his words.
Blinking twice as Y/n mumbled a inaudible "I see" before shifting her gaze onto the window, looking onto the now dark, and snowy view outside.
Shinichiro watched as the girl seemed to hesitant to speak. Waiting patiently for her response
"I... I'm doing fine... It just stings a bit..."
Shinichiro didn't know if he'd feel disappointed or sad. For some reason he just knew that the dual haired girl was lying. She obviously didn't really trust him enough to tell him her exact and true feelings, but he knew that he shouldn't really expect much. They've just met not long ago after all, it hasn't been awhile since they pulled Y/n into their little friend group.
"I see. But remember that you can tell me anything, kay? I'll listen." It was better to have Y/n move on her own pace rather than forcing her to open up.
"Nii-chaaaannn!!" Just before Y/n could respond, Manjiro had barged into the room literally jumping onto Shinichiro's lap.
