Whale of a Time Part 2

EPISODE 29: WHALE OF A TIME PART 2

After a 30-second recap, we cut straight back into the air fight as Benny dives for Troy, he narrowly avoids the Hawk Blaster beam and grabs Troy by the leg. Then with a good flap of his wings and a thrust forward, he flies forward dragging Troy along with him, towards a rock quarry.

However, the Megaforce Red Ranger is still putting up a fight despite his position.

Troy: Hawk Blaster!

This time he fires at Benny's wings.

A quick explosion happens, taking out Benny's Primal Power upgrades as the two then fall toward the ground.

They land with thuds, Troy still holding onto the Cetacean Canon as he does but getting demorphed out of the Ninja Storm suit and back into Super Mega Mode.

After a few seconds of catching their breath, the two get up.

Benny: (getting up) Are you okay?

Troy: (gets up) Could be better.

Benny: Good enough. Now give me that canon already.

Troy: ...Sorry. I can't do that. It's too dangerous to be left on Earth.

He then pulls out another ranger key.

Troy: Lightspeed! Rescue!

With that, he transforms into Carter Grayson's red ranger suit, draws a Rescue Blaster, and begins some original fight footage.

He fires multiple blasts at Benny, who does some quick moves to dodge the shots as best as he can.

Benny: (while dodging) Fine! Have it your way!

He then stops and whips around to deflect the shots while pulling out a weapon.

Benny: Savage Saber!

Similar to when he deflected the shots from Archerfish back in Episode 4, Benny lets loose with his saber, quickly deflecting 5 shots at once. He then rushes forward, deflecting more shots fired at him onto the ground as he runs. Troy tries his best to back away while he fires. But Benny then gets close enough to swing his blade at him. He swings it 3 times at Troy, who dodges all the slashes...

...while whipping out another ranger key and the instamorphing.

Troy: Go, Go, Megaforce! Dragon Sword!

Within a flash, he's in his base suit, and clashing his scarlet saber against Benny's multicolored blocky blade.

Back to the others, Derrick finally arrives at where the team is fighting.

Derrick: I'm here! What's...good?

Once again, we get more original footage similar to the Sentai footage as Derrick stands there, watching the teams fight in a cool wide shot of VFX attacks for a few moments. Getting closer to said action, Sylvia launches some Snow Strikes that Emma blocks with her Dino Saber, before trying to swing at her and instead hitting a pillar hard enough to crack it.

Emma: Gah! Too much, my bad!

Over to the green rangers, Winston kicks the Turbo Axe with his boots while Jake kneels behind it, making it bonk his head and make him let it fall to the ground. Winston then slams his boot on it again, but Jake pulls it out from under him with a good heave, tripping the Green Elephant Ranger.

Jackie and Gia and swinging their sabers at each other, as opposed to grabbing each other's arms and headbutting each other like in the Sentai, with neither gaining any ground, while right behind them, Noah tries to go for a quick stab with the Ninja Star Blade, but the Yellow Lion Ranger stops it, grabs his arm, and somersaults them forward.
