EPISODE 37: BROKEN HERD
(Very Loosely Adapted from "Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger: The Heart Pounding Circus Panic" and "A Man's Ideals")

We open this episode at the Evans Residence. Winston and Hitarthi are sitting on their living room couch with the former wearing a short-sleeved green compression shirt and white shorts (making sure to pull them over his hanging stomach) and the latter wearing a turquoise kurta (an Indian piece of clothing) and some white skinny jeans. The Green Elephant ranger looks nervous and slightly annoyed while Hitarthi looks more relaxed but less relaxed than usual, subtly showing she's not 100% on board with what they have planned.

Winston: I don't like this.

Hitarthi: Neither do I but Tiana deserves to properly meet them.

Her delivery gives off the impression that she's trying to be nice but is begrudgingly going along with this.

Winston: She's already met them.

Hitarthi: No, they met her when she was a newborn.

Winston: Isn't that enough?

Hitarthi: Not if she wants to know more about her heritage.

Winston: She wants careers like us, she loves Aunt Jess and her cousins, we alternate Christmas, Diwali, AND Kwanza—I mean, come on, that is a lot of family stuff for one kid.

Hitarthi: We promised we would make this happen, and they'll be here any minute so unless we can somehow undo their multi-hour flights...this is it.

Winston: (groans) I wish I was fighting a monster.

Hitarthi: Believe me, I'd be much more comfortable washing an elephant's—

The doorbell rings.

From upstairs, the youngest member of the Evans Residence comes running down the stairs.

Tiana: Yes, yes, yes, they're here early!

As she runs toward the front door in her usual attire, her parents stand up with slightly worried and anxious sighs.

Hitarthi: No turning back now.

Winston: (to himself) Mungu atusaidie.
(Swahili Translation: God help us)

We cut to the door being opened by Tiana, revealing three individuals. The first, Karam, is a dark-tanned man with a muscular build, dark slicked-back hair, and a mustache, in a grey collared shirt and jeans. The second, Arpita, is a woman of the same complexion with short wavy black hair and a Bindi dot on her forehead, wearing gold earrings, a casual orange kurta dress, and black pants. The third is a young woman, Jessica, who is a tiny bit shorter than Hitarthi, with again, the same shade of skin and Bindi dot while having a short curly haircut, wearing a purple kurta and long pink pants.

She's looking at her phone at first but that changes the second the door is opened.

Jessica: Well, if it isn't my favorite small mammal.
(She sounds like Norma Khan from 'Dead End: Paranormal Park' )

Tiana: Aunty Jess!

The two share a quick hug while the elders look down at their granddaughter and smile, after being slightly surprised by how much she's grown.

Jessica: Tia, these are your grandparents, Karam and Arpita Misra.

Arpita: It is very nice to meet you.
(She sounds like Symmetra from 'Overwatch')

Karam: Technically, to see you again, even if you don't remember us.
(He sounds like Doug Maheswaran from 'Steven Universe')

They all look up to see Winston and Hitarthi coming toward the door with Jessica being the first to approach, and their expressions/delivery are much more relaxed and happier talking to her.
