About 10 minutes later we all meet up in the halls, of the school waiting for Melissa to come and give us some of Barrows hospital stuff, so the wolves can hopefully sniff him out.

Allison has to sneak out of the school to read the bestiary, she states that there are so many pages she could be searching for hours.

"Look for the word "muscas", it means flies in Archaic Latin" Lydia tells Allison. Lydia quickly leaves a kiss on Allison's lips, which causes both girls to blush

"Good luck" Lydia quietly whispers to Allison before regaining her composure and turn back towards me and Scott.

After Allison runs off to find a way out of the school, Lydia and I start by searching the top floor, all of the wolves go to the basement to check for Barrow.

Lydia and I reach the art room.

"So are you going to tell me what the plan actually is?" Lydia asks

We never had time to explain to Lydia what the plan was because she and Allison were having their moment.

"Right, so basically, Scott will search one end of the basement while Ethan and Aiden search the other. They plan to meet in the middle in the boiler room. And we will search top to bottom meeting in the boiler room." I say to here summing up the plan that Scott and I had rushed creating.

"So what you are telling me is that all the kids with glowing eyes are in the boiler room, to look for the electrical engineer that could easily turn it into a bomb?" She says if it was obvious that it was a trap that we all should've seen.

I run out of the room to the main floor of the school and pull the fire alarm. I smile satisfied with my wit. I slowly turn around to be faced with none other than an angry coach Finstock. Coach blows his whistle right in my ear, I flinch at the noise.

"If you were 4 years younger, I, I'd punch you!" He exclaims.

"That, doesn't even make sense" I say. He drags me out of the school Lydia following behind us, he proceeds to then rant about how I shouldn't have done that with a mass murderer on the loose in town. I wasn't really paying attention, I was watching to make sure Scott and the twins got out of the school, which they did. The bell rang right as everyone met up outside. I go back to my house with Lydia to try and crack what happens using my murder board.

I connect a red piece of yarn from a picture of William Barrow to a picture of the high school.

Lydia asks me what each of the different color string means. I explain to her that each color represents a different stage of the investigation, green being solved, yellow is "to be determined" and blue is just pretty.

Lydia asks me about the red and I tell her that it means unsolved. She points out to me that the only color string on the board is red.

I tell Lydia about how I got detention every day this week for pulling the fire alarm. She  begins to start talking about how she doubts herself because they couldn't find any trace of Barrow being at the school.

I comfort her,
"You have been right every time something like this has happened"

"The werewolves couldn't find a scent and there was no bomb" Lydia says but I persist, adamant that Barrow was there because she had felt it.

I then remove the top from a felt tip marker and sniff it, they smell really good if I'm honest, it's like a good and bad. This causes a realization to jump into my head. I run out of my house leaving for the school in my Jeep, Lydia following closely behind unsure of my thought process.

Lydia and I walk into the science room at school, we find the door to the chemical storage room. The door is unlocked and had an overwhelming smell of chemicals protruding from it.
