chapter 11-birthday

When she arrived from the beach Addison was happy, she had had the best three days of her life. She started to think that maybe she could have a good summer after all. She ran upstairs and tried to not make any noise, she was going to her bedroom when she heard whimpers from belly's room.

She knocked.

Addison- Bells, what's wrong?

Belly looked at her with teary eyes- Conrad- she said.

Addison then spent the rest of the night comforting belly and both of them ended up sleeping in her bed.

The next morning she was woken up by belly shacking her up.

Belly-come on, Addy. Its' our birthday!

Addison woke up tiredly, she hated been woken up. But when she realized what day it was she shot up and hugged belly.

Addison- happy birthday, bells.

Belly- happy birthday addy.

Then they both decided to go downstairs.

Addison- I can't believe we are 16! she squealed as they entered the kitchen.

Belly- morning, guys.

Happy birthday- everyone cheered.

Jeremiah picked Addison up and started turning her around.

Jeremiah- you are finally 16, doofosbag

Addison- I know, now put me down you idiot!- she said chuckling.

she then received hugs from everyone, except Conrad who was sitting grumpy eating his cereal.

Laurel- Your Mickey Mouse pancakes are ready.- she said excitedly

Addison- Actually, I'm not really hungry. Can we eat them later?

Belly- yeah me neither.

Susie- Shall we open gifts?

Jeremiah- girls, you're going to love mine.

They first opened their mother's gift which was kind of boring, but they both smiled like they liked it anyways.

Susannah- okay, girls, open mine now- she handed two black boxes to each of them.

They opened them and there were two beautiful pearl necklaces.

Addison- Oh wow- she said.- Thank you susie

Belly- they are gorgeous.

Susie- my mom gave me this pearls when I was sixteen- she said sitting next to belly.

Jeremiah- here, addy, let me help you. As she put he neckless.

Addison- thank you Jere.

Steve- think fast!- he said throwing his gift at them.

They both open it, it was a Princeton sweatshirt.

Belly- Wow steve, I can't believe you spent money on us- she said.

Addison- thank you Stevie.

Steven- oh, its just like this you don't steal mine next year.

Jere- Me next! I was more original and got you guys different presents.

He first gave one to belly.

Jeremiah- It's a good-luck charm to help you pass your driving test.

Belly- perfect. Thank you.

Jeremiah- your turn Addy- he gave him a black box as she opened it revealed a beautiful golden bracelet with a small J.

Jeremiah- so you can remind me- he said smiling.

Addison- Its beautiful, jere. Thank you so much. - she said launching herself to him to hug him.

Susie- Conrad. Do you wanna give the girls your present?

Conrad- Sorry, I forgot.

At this Addison's heart broke and she could feel Belly was feeling worse.

Belly- Uh.. that's that's cool. Um.. I wasn't really expecting anything anyways, so..

Conrad then left.

Addison- fucking forgot our fucking birthday- she said clear for everyone to hear.

Laurel- Addy, calm down.

Jeremiah- Hey. Why don't we take my car and practice driving? and then we go pick up Taylor and Sabrina to the bus station?- he said towards the two girls

Belly- sure.

So then it was belly driving, Jeremiah in the passenger's seat and Addison behind. She fell asleep as she hadn't had much sleep.

Jeremiah- She looks adorable sleeping.

Belly looked at him- when are you going to tell her?

Jere- What?

Belly- don't act dumb, I know how you feel for her. tell her.

Jeremiah denied his feelings as he continued to show belly how to drive and she accidentally lost control which caused Addison to wake up.

Addison- Bells, I think you're going to need a part two of this lesson.

Belly- part 3 and 4.

They all laughed together.
