Eden had never confessed to anyone in her entire life. Never told someone else that she liked them, much less kissed them right after saying those special words.

I like you.

It was such a simple thing.

But with such great meaning.

Or at least it does if it's said with true and honest intention, which was questionable for Eden.

She wasn't personally confessing to anyone, but her character was.

Today was the day where Kim Mi-so finally expressed her feelings to Lee Young-joon.

Eden took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, thinking about the lines she was about to say and trying to get in the appropriate mood for the scene.

The two had just walked out of the building after seeing Morpheus' interview where he had vaguely talked about having found a very important person that he wanted to protect. A vague confession to spite his own brother.

But Mi-so was upset, this was not what she had wanted and she refused to leave without clearing up the misunderstanding.

Mi-so didn't have feelings for Morpheus, she had feelings for her boss and Vice President Young-joon. So there was nothing else for her to do but to explain herself.

"What you just heard and what you saw earlier," Mi-so looked into Young-joon's eyes. He looked tired and upset, like he had given up, "everything is a misunderstanding."

The man didn't even blink, "you don't need to explain, I told you I'd accept and tolerate everything," he said.

Mi-so shook her head, "No, no, please, I'll explain. I need to make this clear," she looked at him pleadingly.

"Why?" Young-hoon sighed breaking eye contact briefly, "why are you saying this all suddenly?"

"Because I don't want to leave any misunderstandings, even if they mean nothing to you."

"I'm scared you might get it wrong and grow distant..." her eyes glittered with unshed tears.

"Why is that?" Young-joon felt like he was about to lose his breath with the way she was staring into his soul.

"Because I like you."

Eden could suddenly hear everything around her.

The camera crew were trying to be as silent as possible, but she could hear the noises of their murmurs being carried away by the wind. The production crew were pretty far away from where they stood, but their steps still echoed enough for her ears to pick it up.

The loudest sound she could hear was not from any of them though, it was coming from herself.

Her heart was pounding against her chest and it was so strong that she could hear it clearly in her ears.

When she looked up and saw Seo-joon gazing at her, she unconsciously glanced at his lips before swallowing the big lump she felt in her throat.

If this was just acting, then why was her heart reacting like this?
