Rising actress shocks viewers with her amazing skills in film A Muse. At he young age of 17, Eden Lee has caught netizens attention with her fresh and vibrant personality in the film.
Despite having a controversial storyline, Eden Lee has successfully played the innocent character of Han Eun-gyo, a high school student who meets Lee Juk-yo, a well respected poet.
The story of a romantic bond between a high school student and an older man is highly frowned upon, but with the help of a double, who acted in for the more explicit scenes, Eden was able to amaze many viewers and even won the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Actress.
After the success of 'A Muse', Eden Lee has been come a sought after actress by many production companies and is now rumored to be casted for large roles in upcoming dramas.

It had been a risk, a gamble that she didn't know whether it would skyrocket her career or if it would end it before it even began. Even when she first read the script for A Muse, she knew there would be a lot of controversy because of its story line.
An elderly man falling in love with a high schooler? Not only was it preposterous but it was illegal too. She was genuinely hesitant when they approached her but the least she could do was read the script. Not many projects reached out to her so she was having trouble getting gigs, so she didn't want to throw this opportunity away just yet.
That being said, she really wasn't sure if the people were ready for a film like this, so when the movie hit the big screens and led them to win awards, Eden Lee was shocked. She had even won the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Actress.
She had cried for hours after she had arrived home from the event. After years of doing small background roles in shows and movies, she had finally been able to break through. She had previously gotten a bigger role in the movie The Host, which was also a huge success, but she was young and had played the role of a child, so a movie like A Muse, was her ticket to bigger and more mature roles.
She didn't even have an agency, but companies were sending her emails trying to cast her for roles.
The last phone call she had with her mother was full of happy tears. Having left her family so young to live with a distant relative to be able to look for gigs had been hard for her family so to know that it was all worth it in the end was truly relieving. She hadn't seen her younger siblings in years, but she was working hard to send back money so that her family could live better.
Things were turning for the better for Eden Lee.
With the money she earned from A Muse, she was finally able to get her own little apartment instead of burdening her aunt. She had also been contacted by BH Entertainment, a great agency that houses actors and actresses in the South Korean industry. It had been founded by the internationally famous actor Lee Byung Hun. Some other agencies had reached out to Eden, but none appealed to her like BH had, so of course she had signed with them.
This led to a new flood of job opportunities.
Eden Lee worked in a few dramas during the next few months. South Korea was loving the new fresh face and couldn't get enough of her. She was young, pretty, but had the skills to play different type of roles. She could be the naive teenager, she could do a jealous girlfriend very well too, and she was even able to play a girl possessed by a demon. Whatever role was given to her, she could do with no trouble almost as if she could simply erase her personality and adopt a new persona.
Another thing that caught South Korea's Entertainment industry was the fact that not much was known of this young actress. She never revealed her background or talked about her family in public, and she was also fairly quiet when out and about.
