"oh beomgyu you have a mustache now" kai laughs as the boy blushes , rubbing below his nose with his finger , slightly embarrassed.

kai leans over to the boy and wipes it away with his sleeve , then continues to sip his hot chocolate as if nothing happened. beomgyu's heart starts beating slightly faster , not concentrating on the movie at all anymore. all he can look at is kai.

his side profile is so gorgeous , he really does look like a greek god. eveything is perfect , his pretty eyes , his nose , his moles , his lips... eveything is just so beautiful to beomgyu , he can't imagine someone thinking they're not.

"beomgyu don't stare at me like that" kai says making the boy jump slightly , breaking him out of his trance and it makes the boy smile lightly.

"like what? i wasn't staring!" he tries to save himself but kai scoffs.

"yeah right! anything you want me to do for you?" kai asks as he meets beomgyu's gaze , his face burning up.

"n-no , i was just thinking about something..." beomgyu says quietly and kai shrugs , standing up and beomgyu looks to him confused.

"i take it that you don't want a refill?" he asks as beomgyu protests loudly making the boy laugh endearingly.

"beomgyu , can we go watch a movie or something? i don't feel so good right now please let's go back-" yeonjun says before he can spot anything but beomgyu rolls his eyes and continues walking.

the whole world seems to stop in that second , and he suddenly regrets not listening to yeonjun's words. on a bench not too far away , he can see two lovebirds pecking their lips and eating ice cream together. it would be so so cute... if it weren't kai and soobin....

filled with rage , beomgyu storms over to the two , yeonjun reacting a bit too slow at catching him. kai realizes it's beomgyu who's walking over and quickly stands up , soobin looking to him confused and then standing up quickly when he realizes the situation.

"i never stood a chance... did i?" beomgyu asks as kai lowers his gaze , not being able to meet the boy's eyes.

soobin purses his lips awkwardly , glancing to kai from time to time.

"it was never me , i was so stupid for waiting all this fucking time for someone who's never loved me... and never will" beomgyu speaks bitterly smiling as tears brim his eyes, heart getting ripped apart.

"beomgyu listen to me p-" kai reaches out for his hand but the boy pulls away , tears now streaking down his face.

"it's okay , i get why you like soobin. he's an angel , he's pretty... he's so much better than me" beomgyu wipes his cheeks as kai watches him with a hurt expression on his face.

beomgyu takes the baby blue sweater off , throwing it over to the boy before turning around and running away , ignoring the calling of his name from yeonjun , soobin and kai. yes , beomgyu didn't miss out on the small detail of soobin wearing kai's favorite sweater... he never got to wear it and he knows him for seven years.

collapsing on his bed , beomgyu hugs one of his pillows tightly and starts sobbing. it's quiet at first , but ends up getting louder and louder until he's crying his heart out. his heart... it feels like it's bleeding , the earlier bruising definitely didn't help this pain either. flashbacks of all the good and bad pop in his mind , and it makes him sob even harder... it's like he's getting tortured and there's no escape in sight.
