vance stayed the night at my house the night before my brothers funeral, we both got up early to get ready. as I was in my bathroom putting my ear rings in vance walked in and put his arms around my waist hugging me "you look beautiful, and I bet billy would think so too" he says looking at me through the mirror, I looked at him and smiled "hey kiddos you guys ready to go" as my mom walks in and we just nod and leave
on the way there all I could imagine was me in that cold scary basement talking to my brother. "we're here" my dad says parking the car and then we all get out
i saw robin and vinney and his sister waiting for me and vance. we walked over there and I was in between vance and robin "you look great y/n" robin says "thank you robin" I say as we watch my parents talk about billy after my parents finished it was my turn "y/n your up" my mom says as I walk to the mic "as you guys may know I'm billys sister y/n" I say trying to not cry looking at the crowd "m-my brother billy was the person you would like to hangout and be with all the time" I say as tears come down "as you may or may not know I was kidnapped about a week ago but before I was billy was, I stayed out hours hoping I could find him" I say as I take a big breath "I remember one night I was crying in my bedroom due to my best friend Bruce and I's friendship. i cried for hours until billy came in my room. I remember him saying "y/n everything is going to be okay" he didn't even have to ask what was wrong because he knows when I'm upset" I say as I start to break down "billy was my comfort person, and sometimes people say home is a place but home was a person and it was billy. i wish he could have came home with me the day I got out of the hell house but he didn't " I say as I see robin,vance,Gwen,finn start to cry "I really wish my friends got to know him like I knew him, they would of love him" I say as I chuckled a bit "I love you billy, I will make you proud " I say getting off the stand and going back to my friends "you did great" vance says giving me a hug
we then all went home I went in my room with vance crying "I wish you got to know him like I knew him l I say to vance as we both lay in my bed "I wish I got to know him more too" he says rubbing my shoulder to comfort me "i wish he was here" I say turning over to face vance "don't we all" he says rubbing my tears with his thumb "vance" I say looking at him "yes" he says looking at me back "thank you for coming" I say looking at him "of course" he says kissing my forehead, i then rested my head on his chest and fell asleep, and soon enough he did too
