edit: re reading this fic and now my whole mood is ruined slay? what. what possessed me to say that. Periodt? Material girl? i'm going to cry.

Albedo was shuffling through his classes. It was the 3rd period.

"My dear, Chongyun~!" Xingqiu cries out. Albedo grabs a seat next to Xingqiu. "Xingqiu...I...I trusted you." Chongyun replies stiffly, turning his back to Xingqiu. "Albedo, help me!" Xingqiu cries, holding out for Albedo's hands. "what did you do?" Albedo asks tiredly, rubbing his eye while eyeing at the pouting Chongyun. "I just...gave him a...spicy ramen packet without letting him know.." Xingqiu groaned to Albedo. "Xingqiu. You know Chongyun can't take that type of heat." Albedo rolls his eyes while facing back to his desk. "You should apologize." Albedo refers to Xingqiu, while grabbing his books out.

wow. I have never thought of that! Wow. This is life changing." Xingqiu says sarcastically while scrunching up a paper ball and hitting him with it.

Albedo grins in reply and shakes his head. The three are interrupted by the teacher walking in. Thus, the lecture begins.

It is a free period. Chongyun still refused to forgive Xingqiu. "Albedo. Actually help. The love of my life won't speak to me" Xingqiu says in distress. Chongyun rolls his eyes and crosses his arms. Albedo sighs. "Chongyun, will you forgive Xingqiu if he gives you a free popsicle for the whole week?" Albedo asks. Chongyun pauses for a minute then nods his head. "Does this mean you're my boyfriend again?" Xingqiu says with his puppy eyes. "Yes." Chongyun says before being attacked by a hug from Xingqiu. "Oh! That's right, did you hear about that weird soulmate thing?" Chongyun asks, holding Xingqiu's hand. "Yes,I'd rather focus on my studies more," Albedo says, clutching on to his folders. The two blue heads smirk at the blonde "What about Kaeya~?" The two teases. Albedo's eyes darken slightly but a tint of red on his cheeks.

"What about me?" A voice comes from behind the blonde. Two large hands fell on Albedo's shoulder making the blonde tense up. "Kaeya! We were just talking about the soulmates thing!!" Chongyun says enthusiastically. Kaeya's eyes light up. "what do you think of it?" Xingqiu asks.

Kaeya thinks for a second. "Urm...well, I personally think it's really cool. It's just you and your lifelong partner that fate destined for the two of you to be together and to go on adventures and life troubles and nothing stops the two of you to be together because fate will find a way to connect the two of you" Kaeya says, sighing while getting carried away.

Albedo looked at the tanned man. Sparkles glowing in his eyes, mesmerised by the viewing on soulmates from Kaeya. Albedo personally never interpreted it in such a way. Albedo nods his head. "Sorry. Ahem, why did you call my name?" Kaeya asks, getting back on track. Albedo flushes and covers his face with his folders. "Well, urm, we...we just wondered who your soulmate would be!" Albedo makes up. Kaeya grins at the red blonde and nods his head. "right..." Chongyun scoffs, squinting his eyes at Albedo. "Ahem...I mustn't waste this time. I'm going to head to the library. I'll see you later." Albedo blurts out before waddling away from the blue heads.

Albedo was in his apartment. He was making bed soon after he got up.

Tired... he thinks to himself, groaning. He always stays up late to finish off his studies. He pats out his bed and moves to his desk. He clears out his messy desk and grabs out a folder.

Wait...

He saw something on his wrist.

Did I cut my self? Albedo asks while checking the red streak on his line. He turns his wrist, revealing a name.

Kaeya Alberich.

Albedo blushes at the realization. Kaeya?! Was this being for real? What if it was a prank. Albedo was bombarded by questions but no answers. Shit... Albedo thinks to himself as he rushes to the bathroom and swings the cabinet doors wide open. Foundation...foundation...aha! Found it. Albedo's hand was a bottle of old foundation. Please don't be expired Albedo prays as he searches the bottle for the expiry date. Thank you lord Albedo sighs loudly. He slaps some of the cream all over his wrist. Ok. Done. Albedo sighs in relief

It took some time for Albedo to process what was going on. "I need to ignore it. This can't affect my studies. I have to concentrate." Albedo says. He grabs his bag and walks off to his college.

"Albedo!" Kaeya calls out to the blonde. Albedo freezes. "Damn you fast...wonder what else your fast at~" Kaeya teases. Albedo stares at him blankly with full understanding of what he just said.

"That was immature and weird and cringey and gross AND ew." Albedo says before walking off. "Come back! I'm sorry!" Kaeya laughs out loudly, clinging onto his arm. Albedo hums in reply, focusing on his music to ignore Kaeya.

"what are you listening to?" Kaeya asks, grabbing an earphone and putting it against his ear. Albedo flushes in embarrassment. "I swear to god, you're a Pinterest boy" Kaeya scoffs before ruffling his blond hair.

Albedo scowls in reply before snatching his headphone back. "I'm being serious! You have the pretty notes, pretty clothing style, your attractive, and your taste in music!" Kaeya defends his non existing point, raising his arm. Albedo lets out a small laugh.

"Say, Albedo. Did you get your soulmates thing?" Kaeya asks. "urm...no." Albedo replies. "same." Kaeya adds on blandly. "who do you think is your soulmate?" Albedo asks unconsciously. "I...I hope it's someone a lot like you...I know. It sounds stupid but...you're honestly a great person and I hope someone like you is someone I can be fated with..." Kaeya says. Looking right into Albedo. Albedo's eyes widen. The blond blushed profusely. "S-same... urm, I hope to be fated with someone like you." Albedo replies before turning around to walk off. Kaeya smiles in reply and catches up to Albedo. "If we want someone like each other why don't we just date each other~" Kaeya laughs, indicating that it was a joke. Albedo blushes but shakes his head.

"No. Romantic relationships or relationships in general are too exhausting and complicated. I prefer to focus on my studies." Albedo replies stiffly before walking off once again. Kaeya stood there, letting Albedo get away. He was some what hurt by those words. It's not like he was expecting any other words from the studyholic, Albedo. Kaeya tried to brush it off but it still weighed him down.

Albedo turned around and looked at Kaeya. "Are you coming or not?" Albedo yells from a long distance. "Yep!" Kaeya replies before running to the blonde.
