Chapter 3.

CHAPTER 3.

"Xingqiu, Chongyun, have you seen Albedo?" Kaeya asks, panicked, the next day. "Aether says he's sick but I'm not so sure." Chongyun says.

"I can't believe he ditched us for that blondie!" Xingqiu scoffs. "Xingqiu if he did 'ditch' us it's probably because of you and how you make fights with me every two seconds but he didn't ditch us he is sick" Chongyun says, rolling his eyes. "Still rude!" Xingqiu says before breaking into a laugh. "Aether?" Kaeya asks, his voice darkening. "Yea apparently Albedo didn't get home in time and went to the cafe, Aether worked at, drenched and got sick" Chongyun laughs.

"That's him for you" Xingqiu joins in with Chongyun. "...Aether. He went to Aether?" Kaeya asks again. "Yes!" Chongyun sighs. Kaeya nods his head and walks off slowly.

"Aren't you going to see Albedo?" Xingqiu points out. "That's right! You always get so worried for him when he gets sick like you're in love with him...unless you really are in love with him!" Chongyun gasps sarcastically. "No, I'll let him rest..." Kaeya says quietly.

"Is everything ok with you two, you seem kinda out of it." Xingqiu says, a little worried. "Of course. Just a little quarrel.." Kaeya says before walking off, feeling the heavy, worried eyes laying on him.

It's been a week and Kaeya hasn't seen Albedo in a while until now.

He could overhear him and his friends talking in class. "Soo, Aether your interest?" Xingqiu teased. Albedo shook his head. "Of course not. We are just friends. He's been a better friend than any of you" Albedo jokes.

"How dare you! We are the bestest of friends you could ever ask for!" Xingqiu says loudly. "But seriously you and Aether seem scary close." Chongyun adds. "No. we are not anything more than friends. He just took care of me when I was sick." Albedo rolled his eyes.

"Ok, ok!... You look kinda dead." Xingqiu randomly said. "I wasn't able to sleep and I just came back from being sick. Of course I'm going to look like shit." Albedo badgered. "Whatever." Xingqiu burted, rolling his eyes.

He's close to Aether now... Kaeya thinks to himself, writing down on his papers. "What about Kaeya? Have you guys made up?" Chongyun probed.

"What?"

"Oh yea! Kaeya said you two got into a fight or something and didn't check in on you when you were sick!" Xingqiu affirmed. "What are you talking about..?" Albedo asks again. "Yea and he seemed kinda panicked when he asked where you were but sad when he found out you were sick!" Chongyun clarified.

"Oh...

urm...the teacher is here." Albedo says before turning to his desk.

The bell rang and the three boys scampered out.

"Kaeya." a voice calls out for the blue head.

Kaeya turned around to see a blonde boy.

"Aether..." Kaeya says, his voice drowning from the background chatter of people outside the room.
