It's been a few days since you found out you're pregnant. You're still a bit shocked that there's an actual human growing inside you, but at least it's with the man you love. You and Dylan are helping each other cope. He seems really excited about it. The more he talked about it, the more it became real. It was a good thing though; you're going to have a family. His enthusiasm has been rubbing off on you lately. "Ugh! I can't wait! We're going to be parents!" Dylan said, quite loudly in your ear as he cuddle with you on the couch. It was one of his days off; no rehearsal with the boys, no concerts to perform at. "When are we going to tell the guys?" You question. "Whenever you're ready baby. I'm all for telling them whenever. There's no rush. When you're ready and comfortable," He says, brushing his lips against yours while pulling you even closer to him. You nestle in his chest, breathing in his comforting scent. "I love you," he whispers. "I love you more," you whisper back. He says "I love you" once more, but this time, he places a hand on your stomach as he says it. You giggle and can't help but think how lucky you are to have him. "He's going to be a great father, I just know it. He's so excited. I'm happy that he's happy. I can't wait for this baby. It'll be beautiful," you think to yourself, a bit spaced out. "Babe?" You question, staring up at your fiance. "Yeah?" He says, still staring at the TV. "Let's tell the guys...next weekend. Is that okay?" He looks into your eyes, smiles at you, then nods an okay. You bury your face in his chest and decide to nap in his arms.

(Next Weekend)"Congratulations!" Matthew shouts after hearing yours and Dylan's news. Jordon jumps up and hugs you, and gives Dylan a high five, pulling him into a bro-hug afterwards. "Congrats, man." George says, slapping Dylan on the back. "You won't look back. Having a child...it's something different. A little rocky at first, but worth those special moments as they grow up; you'll want them to stay little forever. I know I do," he says, chuckling to himself, probably thinking of his Ava. She's a cutie too. Her curly hair and adorable smile. "I hope our baby has Dylan's smile. His smile can make anyone's day," you think, staring off into space. Jorel pecks you on the cheek after giving you a side-hug and congratulating you on your news. Danny follows suit, giving you a full on hug. He smiles at you, but it seems like a somewhat sad smile. You shrug it off and smile at everyone, intertwining your fingers with Dylan's. You go into the kitchen and grab a six-pack of beer from the fridge for the boys. You set it on the island in the center of your kitchen and grab a glass from a cupboard above the counter. You pour yourself some lemonade from the refrigerator and place it back. You retrieve the six-pack and take your glass with you, heading back to where you left all the boys. "Here ya go boys. Drink up! We're celebrating!" You announce, setting the beers on the coffee table in the center of the living room. They all cheer and grab a beer. Dylan chuckles, taking a sip of his beer and wraps his arms around your waist from behind you. He places a hand on your stomach and kisses your cheek before releasing you. "Come on! Let's celebrate the right way!" Jordon shouts, playing some music on the radio you and Dylan kept on the mantle above the fireplace. You all start dancing until you notice Danny's missing. You take one last look around the room to make sure, and sure enough, the blonde's missing. You go upstairs after telling Dylan you were going to go pee, hoping to find the missing Daniel. You pass by the hall closet and almost keep walking until you hear sniffling. You knock, to make sure someone's in there, and hear shuffling coming from inside. The door slowly opens a crack, Danny's face appearing. He has tear stains upon his cheek and his eyes look red, indicating he's been crying for some time now. You can't help but wonder how long he's been up here, and why you didn't notice he was missing earlier. "Hey, are you ok?" You ask, giving him a sympathetic smile. He only nods, not making any eye contact with you, whatsoever. You don't believe him, so you ask what's wrong instead. "Nothing. I'm fine, I promise." He shrugs. "Danny, I know something's wrong. Just talk to me, please?" You plead with him a bit longer until he finally caves in. He motions his hand in the direction of the closet, implying he wants to talk in private. You enter the closet and turn to face him. He stands against the door, rubbing the extra tears from his eyes. "What's wrong, kid?" He flinches at the last word. "That," he says coldly. You feel your eyebrows furrow, then it all makes sense. "Danny...is it because I'm-" He cuts you off. "Pregnant? Maybe. I don't know. I knew seeing you and Dylan being together was going to be hard, but...a baby? I can't handle that. I mean, I still love you. Yeah I want you to be happy and all, but seeing another man make you happy...it hurts. Seeing you start a family with someone else...I just wish every now and then that it could be me who makes you happy, that I could be the one whose child you're having." He confesses as more tears flow from his eyes. You're not sure what to say so you don't say anything, instead you nod in understanding and pull him into a friendly embrace. He clings to you as if his life depends on it and continues to sob into your shoulder. You only rub his back until his sobs come to a halt. "I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have told you that. It's not fair to you," he manages between sniffles. "It's okay, Danny. Don't cry. I know you want me to be happy, and you're a good man for stepping aside to let me be happy. You're doing the right thing. My family and I will forever be grateful to you for that. You're a close friend of both mine and Dylan's," you state, "and I want to ask you about something. If Dylan agrees once I talk to him, will you be the godfather of our child? It'd mean a lot to us, and I know you'd be a good influence on the baby. He or she would love you. So...what do you say? That is if Dylan's okay with it of course, which I'm sure he will be." He doesn't hesitate to nod and pick you up in a bone crushing hug as a sign of acceptance. You smile and nod, opening the door to exit the closet. He follows you out and you head to the bathroom, where you were going in the first place, while he descends down the stairs. You quickly finish your business, wash your hands, and rejoin your guests downstairs.
