It'd been 2 weeks since the incident with Danny, and since Dylan had busted his knuckles hitting a wall. You were awaken by a kiss on the cheek. "Good morning my love. Happy birthday." Dylan says in a soothing voice and kisses you once more. He told you to close your eyes and said he'd be back with a surprise. "Okay sweetie. Open 'em!" He commanded. You saw a small breakfast on a tray with a lid covering it and something small and odd in the corner, taking up a lot of space on the small tray. As he brought it closer, you realized it was a baby kitten. "Baby! You shouldn't have." You say, excited at the sight of the kitten. "There's more." He says as he puts the tray next to you on the bed. "Hold him. Look at his neck." You did as he said and found a beautiful, single-diamond necklace. "Dylan! How'd you get this?! This must've cost a fortune!" You say in astonishment. "It's worth it...for you, I'd do anything." He says, sitting by you on the bed and pulling you into his arms while you're still holding the kitten. "Now...imagine it was a real baby." He says, kissing your neck. "What?..." You ask. "I've been thinking...I want a family with you. To have a child with you. You're amazing. You'd make a great mother. And...I love you." He says with his arms around your waist. You didn't know what to say. You'd never thought of having a child before. Not so soon. The two of you had never even mentioned kids. Ever. So why now? You stay silent and he continues on. "It's okay to wait. I just...want you. A family with you. But I don't want to pressure you or scare you off. So take your time baby. Now, come on. Lets shower. I invited the guys, Theresa, Vanessa, and Randi over to celebrate with us for a bit. And I think George may bring Ava." He says, pulling you up from the bed and towards the shower. "Great," you thought to yourself, "if Theresa is coming so is Danny, since he hasn't told her anything, meaning they're still together."

----------------------------------

"Ready or not here I come...!" You hear Dylan yell from upstairs, playing hide and go seek with Ava. You tried to concentrate on your guests, but the thought of his proposal of children was still pestering you. You were lost in your thoughts when Theresa came up to you. "You okay girl? You seem out of it." She says with a bit of concern on her face. "Yeah, I'm good. Just thinking about something Dylan said earlier. Anyways," you continue, "How are you and Daniel? You seem pretty happy." She faintly smiled. "I suppose. We're okay. He announced to me today that we were going on a vacation." You seem confused by her facial expression. "That sounds great, so why the long face?" You question. "It's just...as long as I've know Danny...he's only ever done something sweet out of the blue when he's done something wrong. I guess it relieves some guilt. I'm just worried about what it is." You felt yourself grow red, thinking of that morning when you woke up in his bed. Theresa's voice interrupted your flashback. "I need to tell yo-," you began to say when suddenly Ava clung to your leg. "Help!" She screamed in a tiny voice, pointing in the direction of the kitchen door. Dylan came running in towards Ava, arms ready to scoop her up. She squealed and giggled as he came closer to her. He picked her up and spun with her in his arms, smothering her with kisses. She squealed some more. You smiled at the sight, and at the thought of someday, that being yours and Dylan's child in his arms. "What were you saying?" She pondered. "Oh...it's nothing. Here," you say, deciding not to let the truth come out, "let me refill your glass."
Theresa had a confused look on her face but you ignore it, not wanting to think about you and Danny and hurting Dylan. You go to the kitchen to grab another bottle of wine to refresh everyone else's glasses when suddenly the kitchen door opens. "Hey," you hear a familiar voice say, "you look amazing tonight. I miss you. So much. All I can think about is you." You turn around to see Danny standing at a sort of close distance. You could tell by the look in his eyes he loved you. "Danny...stop." You say thinking of Dylan. "I can't do this. You shouldn't be doing this either. Theresa loves you. I love Dylan. We're even thinking of may-maybe having kids." You announce to him, slightly smiling to yourself. "I won't let that happen. I love you! Don't you understand?! I want you! I love you! I want to wake up every day next to you in my bed. I want you and a family with you! I love you so fucking much it hurts!" He practically screams at you. "Danny I-," he cuts you off. "No. Let me finish. I didn't mean for this to happen. I never wanted to hurt Theresa or Dylan. I loved her and he's my best friend, but you. You're something different. You're all I can think about...I'm going to end it with Theresa." He continues, "Yeah, she's great and pretty and a good person but she's nothing compared to you." He gets closer to you and you slightly back away. He was so sincere. The look in his eyes put you in a sort of trance. Finally, he kisses you, and you kiss back. He puts his arms around your waist and presses you against the island in the center of the kitchen. He begins attempting to insert his tongue in your mouth when Theresa walks in the door and screams at the sight. She says nothing and runs out of the kitchen and you hear her loud sobs as she slams the door to the house, speeding away. Dylan, Jordon, Jorel, and George with Ava in his arms appear in the kitchen. You feel hot tears cascade down. Your cheeks, knowing you've lost your best friend and hurt your boyfriend, once again.
