Lan Wangji walked past Wei Wuxian, who was still staring at him, and still unsure whether to feel happy or conflicted to see him again. After all, they went through a lot together, well when Wei Wuxian was in his own body and not in someone else's.

"The second young master of Lan, "𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒐𝒔 𝒊𝒔" indeed. Even descending in person to these remote mountains" Jiang Cheng said.

"Clan Leader Jiang, aren't you here too?" Jingyi and Sizhui arrived.

"When elders are speaking, you're in no place to talk. The Lan Clan pride themselves as the model of fine etiquette. But this is how their disciples are taught" Jiang Cheng says with arrogance.

"Master Jin. Cousin Jiang. Night hunts require fair competition. If you scatter the nets all over Mt. Dafan, severely restricting other cultivators, isn't that against the rules of night hunt" Sizhui respectfully scolded them.

"Ha! It's their own folly, stepping into traps. What can we do" Jin Ling said, not really caring about the situation. Jiang Liang stepped up and bowed to them and then bowed at Lan Wangji, "Forgive us, Uncle Wangji. We thought that we would catch our prey in a short amount of time before anyone else would"

Jiang Cheng scoffed at his son. That politeness of his came from his mother since she was born in the Lan Clan. In fact, most of his traits came directly from Lan Mei. His temper and facial structures are the only things he inherited from his father. But he was grateful for that since he didn't want to deal with a mini him.

"Wait, Uncle Wangji, where's my mother?" Jiang Liang asked. Jiang Cheng had already furrowed his eyebrows, "Where is she? Shouldn't she be with you?" He asked Lan Wangji. "Hanguang-Jun had her finish up a task for him. You needn't worry" Sizhui answered.

"You need to calm down!"

Wei Wuxian heard a female voice from behind him. He turned back to see Lan Anhe sheathing her blue saber, Pohuai, before putting her hands on her hips, "Chenguang-Ji!" Wei Wuxian sounded slightly happy when he saw her. Jiang Liang and Jin Ling grew nervous at her presence.

"Jin Ling, Jiang Liang, Didn't I tell you to not set up too many nets? That is practically cheating!" Lan Anhe scolded them as she walked to her nephew and son. Jiang Liang stood in front of his cousin, "We're sorry, mother. We thought that this would be faster to catch our prey"

Lan Anhe sighed before staring at her husband, "As for you..." Jiang Cheng was already rolling his eyes, "How are these boys going to learn how to cultivate properly if you don't teach them it correctly? And don't say "I do as I please" or "it's to practice for my protection" because I am getting sick of those responses. You never give me a proper answer anymore..."

Wei Wuxian couldn't help but snickered at Jiang Cheng getting scolded by his own wife. All Jiang Cheng can do is listen to her in silence. Although, in some cases, he would've answered her already. But at the same time, he finds it extremely attractive when she's angry.

"You're lucky enough that I let the boys go out night hunting with you so that they can try and actually learn something" Lan Anhe puffed.

"Wait, Chenguang-Ji! He's your husband?" Wei Wuxian asked her while pointing at Jiang Cheng. Lan Anhe giggled as she happily skipped to her husband and wrapped her arms around his left arm. "Yes, he is. We've been together for quite a while now" she smiled.
