"So what are you going to wear? It has to be perfect! Oh this is so exciting and romantic!" Milly squeals.
She's been like ever since we left the airport . Now we are in Alexander's house. Thank my lucky stars that I don't have to see him until later tonight. It's weird being in his house. Father must have told him what I like because the room we are staying in has blue walls with gold, vintage designs. There are two queen size beds with white comforters, a white nightstand, a blue couch. The comforters on the bed are just plain white. But the only good thing in this room is the closet. Huge, but so are the dresses. Poor Alexander must have gotten my measurements wrong because everything is too big to fit me. Another wardrobe is on it's way right now.

Milly is waiting anxiously by the door. She can't wait to see what my clothes are so she can start piecing out outfits for me. She loves making my outfits, so I let her. The anticipation is too much for her, which is adorable. Silly Milly
Someone knocks the door and Milly rushes to open it. A women in her thirties pushes in a rack full of clothes. Milly almost squeals.
"There will be more on the way," the woman assures us," but this will be for tonight and the next few days."
I smile and nod. The woman quietly exits the room and closes the door. Milly is already combing through the rack.
"Oh this will be perfect together- oh so will this! Oh but what about this? The part tonight is a costume one. We will need to think of what we want to send you as."
"We can send me as Cassie Lee Morce." I say.
"You can' t go as yourself," she complains,"besides, you will want to make a good impression."
"I could go as Alice in Wonderland," I suggest. I have a feeling that my idea might already be knocked down.
"No, you were that at the last party," she protests.
"Fine,"I groan.
I go to the rack and start to look. I am about to give up, but then I see wings. Wings would be perfect.
"Milly, can I please wear these wings tonight?"
"Oh my, they are stunning. You could go as a fairy or maybe an angel." She suggests.
I am not too keen on the whole fairy idea. But the wings are too beautiful to pass up. They are a seductive purple with silver and blue accents. The silver outlines the wings. The periwinkle blue swirls against the purple fabric. Then, blue and purple wispy fabric flow down to the bottom of my butt. It will flow whenever I walk, which will give me a mysterious and elegant look.
"I can take apart some of these dresses and make them match the wings." Milly implies.
"Can you get it finished in time for tonight?" I realize that that was a stupid question.
"Um, who do you think made you a whole dress in two hours?" She says.
"Alright, sorry I questioned the almighty power of Milly." I shot back.
"I am Milly, hear me roar!"
I couldn't help, but topple over laughing.
Milly rolls her eyes and smiles. Then she immediately started pulling dresses off of the rack and cutting them apart. I am so lucky to have a her as a friend.
I yawn. My jet lag is horrible and I almost feel sick. But I am scared to sleep. The nightmares might come back. I am so tired though, and Milly can wake me up if I toss and turn. I make my way to the bed and crash. Slipping into a deep sleep.

"Come to me, Darling," I hear. I'm in a dark room. Pitch black. I tried to feel my way around. My hand touches something cold and wet. It took me a minute to realize it was water.
" Why does it have to be so dark?" I complain.
"You might be frightened," the voices responds back. It belongs to male.
"I think you are the one who should be frightened," I shot back without realizing what I had just said. I don't have any weapons, but he doesn't know that. I search frantically for anything in my pocket that could be used as a weapon. Wait...where are my pockets? I quickly feel my way around my waist to see if there are any. My hand touches a dagger that is secured in a sash around my hips. I slowly pull it out.
"That dagger won't work. I can swipe it out of your hands before you realize it's gone." He says with confidence. How did he know I had a dagger?
"Who the hell are you?" I ask.
" Who are you?"
"Can you at least turn on the lights?" I beg.
"Is someone afraid of the dark?"
"No, it's just that if you're are a monster, then I know you aren't real." I say.
"Do I feel real?"
A gush of wind swoops by and the dagger is taken away. Before I can even protest, his hands are on my waist. He is right behind me and pulls my back to his chest. His lips are by my right ear. The touch shocks me and increases my heart rate.
" I know you won't kill me. If you wanted to, you would have done it five minutes ago. So what do you want?" I ask.
" You."
I tremble. His warm breath sends chills through me. He smells sweet and bitter at the same time.
"Nervous?" He chuckles darkly." Then you are innocent and pure. I will enjoy taking all of those things away from you. So are you scared of me now?"
I don't say anything.
"Don't try to escape. I will always find you." He takes my hand and guides me to something soft. He has me lay down and lays down next to me.
"How can you see?" I ask him, with a shaky voice.
"A magician never reveals the secrets of his tricks." His arms pulls tight against my waist. "Are you comfortable? Is your clothing suitable?"
I feel around my body, hoping to find some indication that I am actually wearing clothes. Silk. My body is wrapped in silk and lace. It is the most comfortable thing I have ever worn. But last time I checked, I was wearing a green cotton dress with a black belt around it.
" Is this real?"
"This is a dream, nothing is real." He answers.
"But you just tried to prove that you're real." His grip on me loosens,"This is the best nightmare I have had." I say, hoping to cheer him up.
His grip tightens once again.
"My poor, innocent dear," he says with pity," you have horrible monsters hiding in your closet."
I yawn. "They come from nowhere."
I can feel him nod.
"Are you tired, Dear?" He asks with concern.
" This isn't a dream," I blurt out.
"Yes it is," he protests.
"No, it's not. I am thinking logically. I never think logically in my dreams." I say.
He pulls me even closer. "Shh."
Something covers my body.
"What is this?"
"This, my dear, is my wing."
I smile and curl up to his body. He makes me feel safe and secure.
"Thank you," I say, "for not being a nightmare."
He lips brush against my forehead. "Goodnight Cassie, Dear. "
"What's your name?" I ask. But before anything I can remember what his name was, I wake up.
