OMG! I can't believe of all people Susan had to come. I am going on this retreat to become reborn through christ while having the support of my friends and being real. I can't be real with Susan around. She will just make fun of me. I haven't told anyone about what Susan does because I know no one will believe me. Oh well. I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope she isn't in my room.
"Omg. Hey Susan." Zoe said jumping off the couch to hug her. "Hey Zo!" she said back. They both sat down and everyone said hello while I just sat there akwardly. They all talked and laughed and then Jeremy stood on the stage in our praise room where him and Leslie perform and started to talk, "Hey guys! How are y'all doing?" We yelled back good and he continued, "Alright, awesome. So I'm gonna go over the rules and call role." He started calling role and he came to my name,"Samantha Brinks." "Here." I yelled back and then I zoned out again because I was really bored.
The whole time he was saying the rules I wasn't paying attention until I heard him say, "Alright, lets get on the bus." I stood up and Madeline came up to me and said,"You're sitting with me on the bus because we have to talk. Uh Oh. This can't be good. Sigh. That girl always has something to say. We walked on the bus and I found a seat around the middle of the bus. I sat down and Madeline sat next to me. Zoe and Susan sat in front of us and Caleb and our other friend Trent sat on the other side of the aisle across from us while Jennifer and her friend Lisa sat in front of them. I don't really know Lisa but she seems nice.
"Alright guys lets head out!" I heard Jeremy say from the front of the bus. We all screamed and hooted as we started to drive off. "Sooo what did you want to talk about?" I asked Madeline. She looked at me and simply said it would probably be better if we didn't talk out loud. I just looke at her as she pulled out her phone and started typing. She finished typing and I felt my phone vibrate. I checked my phone and saw that I had a tex from her. "Really?" I said looking at her like she was crazy which she is. She just looked away. I checked my phone and saw the text said, "Whats wrong?" I sighed and texted back, "Nothing."
She soon replied back,"Really. Cuz u didn't talk muc after Susan showed up." Crap she was on to me. I texted back, "Its nothing I'n just tired." She looked at me and said, "Alright, but if you're lying to me I will find out." I giggled and said, "I'm gonna try to sleep. Wake me up when we stop for lunch. She nodded and I leaned up against the window and fell asleep.
