37) Gender Reveal

'Hang on, 'ang on!' Marlene exclaimed, 'what did u just say?' Her eyes lit up in delight as she asked the question once again.
'New footsteps,' Lily repeated leaning behind her to grab the pregnancy test off of the counter and showing Marlene. Instantly, she was enveloped into an embrace full of laughs and squeals of excitement. The two girls had been hugging for five minutes while Sirius stood in confusion. He probably did not know what the test actually meant seeing as it was used by muggles. 
'James what are they on about, new footsteps?? Is someone else joining our group??' 
'Yes Sirius,' James said.
'WHAT, WHO?? NO TELL THEM WE DONT HAVE SPACE!' he shouted, resulting in Marlene and Lily falling out of their hug.
'OH Sirius, you thick-headed prat! Lily is pregnant!!' 
'WHATTT! WHY COULDN'T SOMENE HAVE JUST SAID THAT INSTEAD OF TALKING RIDDLES!' very clearly expressing his annoyance, which seemed to quickly disappear in the next two seconds. 
'Lilyflowerrrrrr! yk i was going to ask you, your stomach did seem to be getting bigegr' he said resutlting in a slap from Lily. He ran up to her and gave her a long hug, 'I'm soooo happy I'm gonna be an uncle! But please please please can we call him after his fantastic role-model uncle: me of course,' he tried t do a pouty face which instead made him look like some sort of frog and caused everyone to crack up laughing. 
'What did i do?' he asked confused. 
'Ohhh padfoot, you did nothing don't worry' James chuckled.
'LILY, what's the gender?' Marlene asked curious.
' I have no idea, Clara knows though,' Lily said.
'Before you ask, no I cannot tell you, instead you will find out on Friday at the gender reveal party,' Clara said with a tone of excitement.
Everyone groaned but continued to celebrate the exciting news they had just received. 
That night, Lily and James wrote letters to the people within the order to continue to spread the news. 

Friday rolled around a lot quicker than they had expected, there was probably something different when it came to witches and wizards because the pregnancy could be seen a lot better now than a couple days ago. Lily struggled to put on the jeans she would usually wear on a daily basis. Just then Marlene came into the room, closing the door behind her. They had all forbidden her to go into the living room where everything for the party had been set up the night before. She had heard the clunks and crashes going on but despite her curiosity, she did not enter the room. 
'Lilyyyy, there is no way you're wearing that!' Marlene exclaimed, seeing lily try to wear her daily worn out jeans. And from behind, she took out a beautiful short white dress and a summer hat to go along with it. 
'Ohh Marlene, this is so beautiful!' and immediately put the outfit on. The white silk made her pale skin and flaming red hair stand out even more beautifully. The small bump could be seen in this outfit, making her look more gorgeous. 

'Okok u can fangirl over my fashion sense later. For now it's time to partyyyyyy! Come n everyone must be waiting
