Chapter 4

Morning came by too fast. I got up feeling nausea and rushed to bathroom and puked everything out. I got done and decided to shower. After my morning routine I got dressed and headed downstairs.

I went to the fridge and grabbed some water bottle and before I left I saw the maid, Maria who was preparing for cleaning. "Good morning Maria." I said with a genuine smile at her.

She looked at me and smiled. "Good Mrs Henderson." "Oh no Maria I told you to call me by my name it's really not necessary to be formal for you to call me by a surname."

Maria is older than me but respects me like I'm older than her. I mean I'm barely 30 so I'm very much younger than her. She has been here since I got married to Andrew and I've met some of her kids and nephews that she brought here for a fun day we had every year. She's such a sweetheart and I hope she's here forever.

"Sorry it's just a habit I got used to. I'll try calling you by your name next time if I don't forget cause I'm growing old hey." I chuckled and gave her a slight nod heading to the door with my handbag in my hand.

"Today you don't have to cook I'll just buy some takeaways and you can go home early. Don't overwork yourself please." Before I could make my way out of the house she called and spoke to me once again.

"I had what happened with Mr Henderson. I'm very sorry ma'am. Men come and go. You'll find someone who'll love you for all your beauty and flaws and all the insecurities you have."

I responded looking back at her, "It's okay Maria, after all it's life and we all can't make each other happy." I smiled and started walking out towards the garage. The sun outside today was brighter then yesterday. I sighed.

I hope today has something good in put for me.

I made my way into the building and made my way to the office without stopping anywhere. I got to my office and was met with Andy holding a cup of my favorite ice coffee for the morning. Iced latte with whipped cream and almond milk. So heavenly.

She had her short pink hair curled today and it looked like she dyed her ends again with purple this time. I scanned her outfit and she is wearing a blue pantsuit with a baby blue dress shirt. She can never go wrong with her outfits. She always has a way of styling her day.

"Good morning Andy. I hope you got me a good assistant." I said with a smile as I moved towards my desk grabbing the coffee from her hand. I sat in my chair and she turned around facing me with her hands crossed on her chest.

"Of course I did and you are going to like her she's good for the job trust me." She said as she showed me a grin. "Is she here already?? I hope you not expecting me to interview her because I'm not about to do that for the 10th time now. I hope you did everything."

"You see I knew you'd say that so that's why I did it myself and since I liked her enough for the job she's already in her office next to yours I'll only go and call her so she'd come see u and discuss your day with her."

I smiled widely at her. She knows me too well. That's why she's my best friend. "It's okay go ahead and call her in." She left the office and went to call the new assistant.

She came back in with a short woman with dark jet black hair placed in a silk bun. She was wearing a pencil medium skirt and a white blouse with pumps. The features on her face looked familiar but I didn’t know from where. Maybe it's just hallucination.

They moved towards my desk and I motioned for the woman to sit on the chair opposite me. "Emily meet miss Wilson, your boss and Miss Wilson meet Emily Wright your new assistant."

I was simply pleased with the woman in front of me so I put my hand out for her to shake. "Next to meet you Emily I hope we work together for a very long time." I said with a wide smile. She returned the smile and took my hand in hers. We shook hands for a minute and we both let go.

Andy then told Emily  she was set with everything then she left the office leaving us here. Suddenly Emily spoke up. "Miss Wilson your schedule for today goes as follows: at 9:30 you have a meeting with the Grey brothers, at 11:00 you have to meeting with your lawyer and Mr Henderson and his lawyer then at 18:50 you need to be at an event for you all."

I shivered. I was going to meet Andrew today and I'm scared of what was going to happen there. I don't want to throw a tantrum but I just might. I just guess I'll deal with this when the time comes. "Wait you just said I had an event to go to tonight?" She nodded.

I layed my head on the table and groaned, "I don't even have a date for this thing." I said loudly in panic.

"Miss Wilson you could still go alone and might get someone who's going the alone and you might get someone there that's going solo like you." She said and shrugged. She was really not helping me out right now.

I mean how was I going to look at the other CEO's eyes. People would have partners going with them and I would be alone like the lonely wolf that I am.

"I can't it will look bad to the other CEOs. I am really in need of a date right now."

The door creaked open and some said, "Did somebody say date??" I looked up and my eyes met Andy grinning evilly. Oh no I can't let her be the one finding a date for me.

This day is going to be worse then this after she finds me a date.
