‘BEEP BEEP BEEP!’ my alarm clock is going off and I groan. I slam my hand on the button and my room is left in silence. I get out of bed and rub the sleep out of my eyes. I’m trying to think if I have anything planned after school, but my brain is not awake yet. I shrug it off and walk into the bathroom. I get into the shower and the warm water soothes my muscles. I quickly wash and shave myself. I turn the shower off and dry myself. I blow dry my hair and put my makeup on. I rush back into my room and grab my underwear out of a drawer. I decide on a pushup bra since it will look better with my outfit. I put a blue crop top on with black strings on the front and black booty shorts. To finish it off, I put my black heels on and I make two buns on top of my head.

I walk down the stairs and I walk to the kitchen where I see my mom and brother. ‘Hi mom, hi Frankie,’ I greet them both. ‘Good morning honey,’ my mom responds and Frankie gives me my phone and I look at him confused. ‘I don’t know who Munchkin is, but can you tell him to stop blowing up your phone,’ Frankie says irritated. ‘Munchkin?’ my mom asks joining the conversation. ‘That’s Zayn, you know, my history tutor,’ I explain to them. ‘Oh cute guy,’ Frankie responds with a smirk. ‘Doniya’s little brother?’ my mom asks for confirmation and I nod my head. I make myself some cereal and take a seat in the dining room. I unlock my phone and go to my messages.

Second of all, did you sleep well? I hope you did cause you deserve it. It would suck if you didn’t and I hope I don’t talk you to sleep this afternoon during our tutoring session.
