I can only hope that Hades is somewhat alright. I don't know if I would be. I open my corridor doors and come inside. Hades is still unconscious on my bed but he has switched positions. I walk slowly to the bed and sit beside his resting body. I move a few strands on his hair behind his ear so that I can study his beautiful face. He has a perfect face. His nose, his eyes, his lips, his dimples when he smiles, it is all perfection. How lucky am I that he is mine? Gently I massage his temples and wait for his eyes to flutter open. He tiredly takes hold of my hand in the middle of both of his hands and holds it close to his chest.

"Good morning Sephi," he says. Nobody has ever called me that before, I love it. I smile at him and lay down next to him.

"I'm glad you got some sleep, I was hoping you wouldn't be too restless last night." I say quietly.

"You were thinking about me?" He grins at me and I can't help but return the smile.

"Not too much," I roll my eyes and laugh gently. With my free hand I brush the rest of his hair out of his face so I can continue to study it. I could stare at him for hours, admire him like a painting. I lock eyes with him and smile, leaning forward to plant a kiss above his left eyebrow.

"Come away with me today," Hades grins.

"Wherever shall we go?" I inquire.

"Somewhere you've never been," he tells me.

"That sounds absolutely splendid." Who would've thought I'd be so excited to spend time at a secret place with Prince Hades? The day I left for the palace I definitely did not have this in mind, but I'm quite pleased with the way things have gone. I now remember my wish on that shooting star, the night before I parted with my home, I wished to find true happiness. I believe that I have.

"Persephone, I am so grateful for you. Never doubt that," Hades says to me.

I feel my cheeks turning pink. "I am equally as grateful for you, Hades. I think I've lived more in these few weeks with you than I have my entire life."

"I'll leave you to get dressed, meet me in one hour in the ballroom." Hades smiles, and gets out of the bed. Before leaving my room he turns around and smiles at me, saying nothing. The butterflies are back. They always return when he looks at me like that. He leaves and I close my eyes trying to relive this morning. If I could just choose a memory with him and live in it forever, I would. I know I would never grow tired of him.

I get off of the bed and make my way towards the closet. I've no idea what to wear because I've no idea where we're going, but I feel like dressing up today. Knowing Hades, it's most likely somewhere outside. I love that he is so passionate about being outdoors. I end up choosing a tulip pink dress with sheer sleeves and a lace neckline. It fits like a glove, I spin a few times in the mirror once I've put it on. I never thought this would be the life I lived, the life of a princess. I feel that it was meant for me, though. Something about being here in this castle, in these dresses, it just feels right. I sit down at my vanity and observe myself in the mirror. It doesn't feel odd looking at my reflection anymore. The young woman in the mirror looks perfect, like she's lived this life all along. I pin my hair up into a low bun with braids on either side.

I walk happily to the ballroom where Hades is waiting for me already. He takes my hand and kisses it gently before spinning me around slowly.

"My goodness, you are perfection." His voice charms me in an impossible way. He keeps my hand in his and guides me through a secret door. It looked like part of the wall, similar to the one I encountered a week ago. "This one is only known about by me, and now you." Hades smiles.

"How many secret doors are in this castle?" I laugh. What a wonderful place. It is a dark tunnel at first, then I see light in the distance and hear sounds of flowing water. The tunnel opens up into a beautiful, large cave. Sunlight peeks through the holes in the walls and highlights the water. The rocks seem to have formed steps leading into the body of water. "This is the most beautiful place I have ever seen," I look around trying to take it all in.
