STEPHAN TOOK NOTICE OF THE CHANGE IN EMMA, ESPECIALLY DURING HER small get together during her party, especially around Avery, he saw the red flushed checks. Even at pick up, that time he was late, Avery waited with Emma, for Stephan to arrive. Once they drop Avery home, and Stephan turns to look at his daughter.
"Dad" Emma warns, "Don't." Emma says not turning to look at her dad.
"Okay, I won't." He says as he drives them home. "I won't even tell you how they smile at you." He says and Emma turns to look at her dad eyeing him. She sees the smile playing in his lips and she groans throwing her head back, making him laugh.
"You can't just do that." She groans annoyed with her dad.
"Uhh." Hs groans mimicking the teenager. "Actually, I can." He says in a matter of fact tone. "It's sorta one of my jobs as your dad." He says as they pull into the main road.
"It's also your job to help your daughter." She points out and he lets out a 'Huh' focusing on the left turn he's taking.
"Mhm." He says before adding, "Yeah, but your mom and I agreed that you can't date till your fifteen." He points out. "You and your sisters." He reminds her.
"How are classes going again?" She asks changing the subject.
"Changing the subject, now are we?" He teases her as the he pulls up to their drive way, he opens up their gate, with the fobs button. Emma watched their front gate open as her dad drives them in and it closes behind them. Their home had a lot of free space, just like her mother wanted it, they had good amount of trees on the road leading them up to the house. There were various trees on the property provide shade for when they were outside.
"Channeling Yoda are we?" Emma says with a small smile.
"We are." Stephan says "Hmm." He nods making her laugh, "classes are hard like usual. They're supposed to be." He says and she nods. "Don't tell your mom, but these classes are harder than back in our universe."
"They are more medical and technological advanced." Emma nods in agreement. "I don't remember much of the school system."
"From what you've told me, much better than the one we had back there." He says before turning the car off, and the two hop off making their way home.
"Did you except Steph to be a red head?" Emma asks him. "I had a feeling." He says.
"What is that supposed to mean?" She asks.
"I'm not supposed to say much, but your sister came to meet me." He says and Emma stops in her tracks, and Stephan turns to look at her.
"Grown up Steph?" She asks and he nods. "And that's how you found out Mom was pregnant." She says and he nods. "She didn't tell you much about our lives?" She asks.
"No, she was worried it would mess it up, but she was completely fine with brining me here." He says.
"You belong here, with us." Emma says agreeing with future Steph. "You're our dad." She says joining him at the top step and Stephan smiles at her. "Mom is happy, we all are." She says and Stephan kisses the top of her head.
