ROBERT HAD FALLOWED LU, NOW WAS HIS CHANCE FO CONVINCE HER TO COME WITH him. He runs hearing a thud, her sees her on the floor bleeding from her nose and head, most likely from the fall, her back back was right next to her, and the room is a destroy, the machine she was building is destroyed.
"Lu, hey, hey." Rob says rushing fo her side. He carefully turns her and sees her wound, and he checks her wound. It wasn't as healing as quickly as it should have. "Lu? Hey, hey, come on." He says lightly slapping her face, trying to get a reaction. How the hell am I supposed to get her out of here? He asks himself. He looks around to find anything he could use. He waits for her as he tries to wake her up.
AFTER A FEW MINUTES, LU WAKES UP GASPING FOR AIR. SHE GRABS HER CHEST TRYING to breathe. "Slowly slowly." Rob teller her as she tries to sit up. He helps her sit up, her back leaning against the wall.
"What happened?" She asks.
"Whats the last thing you remember?" He asks her cautiously, as he cleans her wounds.
"I came in here for the goober and then I fell." She says. "Where's Emma and Hope?" She asks.
"I don't know, I heard the thump and I found you on the floor." He says.
"Is Herhsel dead?" She asks in a whisper, scared of the answer. He looks at her and nods slowly, and she swallows, and nods. "Come on, we have to go." She says standing up.
"You're bleeding." He says as she picks up her bag.
"I'll be fine, we just need to leave. Now!" She says. He takes her bag and carries it, along with his. "You're bleeding." She says.
"It was a knife, I'm fine." He says. Lu grabs the gun but sights remembering there's no ammo left, she takes it to use against the walkers.
"Thanks for cleaning me up." She says and he nods.
ROBERT AND HER MAKE IT OUT OF THE PRISON AND SHE TURNS BACK TO LOOK AT IT, it's burning. She hopes no one else is inside, but in case someone is still inside, she takes out the walkers before Robert and her walk away. The two hadn't seen anyone else when they made their escape and go through the forrest. She can't help feel anger, and sadness, exactly what she felt after Thanos.
"I need to find Emma and Hope." Lu tells him. Robert turns to look at her, "look I'm going either way, so you can tag along or this is where this ends." She says.
"You need rest." He tells her, "won't do them any good if you're dead." He says. They can hear a few walkers and the two run off, in the opposite direction.
In Lu's head what Rob said made sense, and she sighs, knowing he's right. "Alright." She says once the two reach safety.
"We start tomorrow morning." He says. She nods and they both hear someone's screams and Lu runs to them and Rob runs after her. They see Ryan fighting some walkers off and Rob and Lu help him kill them.
