Chapter 16:

Madison's POV

"I'm so happy you'll be coming to work with me." Ryan says shaking me as we walk up to Penske. Dale gave me the day off to look around Penske, and see what I'm getting into next year.

"Yeah, same." I say as we walked in the doors.

"Morning Hannah." Ryan says.

"Hey Ryan. Is this your sister I've been hearing about lately? It's great to finally meet you." The lady said shaking my hand.

"It's nice meeting you too." I say.

"Mr. Penske is in the shop with Joey and Brad." Hannah says.

"Thanks." Ryan says opening another door. I follow closely behind him as we made our way, I'm guessing towards the shop. Ryan turns the corner and goes through double doors. As we walked into the shop, Brad and Joey turned our way.

"I got her." Ryan says.

"Yes!" Brad says. Well, at least I know Brad and Joey personally, because I raced for Brad Keslowski racing in the Truck Series last year.

"Heck yeah, it's nice to see you again Madison." Joey says. I was expecting to shake his hand, but instead pulls me into a hug.

"Roger says he wants to see you in his office." Brad says. I nod my head and followed Ryan out of the shop. Ryan stops at a door and knocks.

"Come in." Ryan opens the door. I follow into Mr. Penske's office.

"Hey boss, I got her." Ryan says.

"Thanks Ryan. We have much to discuss Madison, please take a seat." He says motioning me to a seat. I sit down in the leather chair and Ryan puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Now I'm sure Dale has told you, we've been discussing your future in the Sprint Cup Series. We all were amazed with your win at Texas when you filled in for Kasey. We know this is a big decision, so if your not ready Dale and I are willing to keep you in the Xfinity Series one more year." Roger Penske says.

"I feel like I'm ready, but yet I don't." I say unsure. Ever since Dale gave me the news, I haven't really thought about it.

"We all understand that this is a big step. Dale is willing to sign you one more full year with JRM and you'll be part time Sprint Cup here."

"I think I'm comfortable with that." I say shaking my head.

"Alright part time driver next year for Penske." Mr. Penske says pulling out a piece of paper.

"Sign here." he says handing me a pen. I take the pen and signed 'Madison Blaney' on the contract.

"I'll call Dale and tell him your decision, Ryan why don't you show your sister around campus." Mr. Penske says.

"Alright let's go Maddie." Ryan says. Ryan gave me a tour and I got to meet some of the crew members, and Paul Wolfe.

From Chase💙: Hey, I'm outside when your ready.

To Chase💙: Okay, I'll be out in a minute.

"Thanks for the tour Ryan. Chase is here waiting outside for me." I say giving Ryan a hug.

"No problem anything for you sis. Stay safe, I'll see you this weekend at Dega." Ryan says.

"Okay see ya." I wave walking out. Once I walked outside and looked around for Chase's truck.

"Hey beautiful." Chase says pulling up in front of me.

"Hey handsome." I say getting into the passengers seat.
