They once again sat in the bus, waiting for Hopper to come get them.
Dustin was pacing back and forth which was driving them all insane.
"Will you stop pacing?" Mike snapped.
"It's been way too long. Do you know what? Maybe you're right. Maybe this is all a trap and the bad men are coming to get us right now!" Dustin ranted, still pacing.
"It's not a trap!" Lucas said.
"Yeah, why would the chief set us up?" Y/n agreed.
"Nancy, maybe, but the chief?" Lucas added. Mike scoffed.
"Lando Calrissian." Dustin said as if it mattered.
"Would you shut up about Lando?" Lucas snapped.
"I don't feel good about this. I don't feel good about this!" Dustin yelled at Lucas.
"When do you feel good about anything?" Lucas yelled back.
They heard vehicles approaching, which made y/n run to the front of the bus and the others follow her. Two cars pulled up.
"Shit!" She yelled.
"Go, go, go, go." Mike said and grabbed y/n's hand and went to the back of the bus. They all ducked down.
"Lando." Dustin said, panting.
"You think they saw us?" Lucas asked, quietly.
"Both of you shut up. You'll get us killed." Y/n scolded them.
They both remained quiet after that.
Y/n heard the car doors open and close, then multiple footsteps approaching.
The footsteps got closer and closer. Y/n's heart dropped the second she heard the bus door squeak open.
However, no one walked in, only the sound of fighting was heard after they. Y/n furrowed her brows and shared a confused look with Mike.
The door creaked open again, this time they all stood up seeing that it was Chief Hopper.
"All right, let's go." He said.

They arrived y/n's house a bit later after the chief picked them up. It was already much darker.
As soon as they pulled up y/n saw her mother, Jonathan and Nancy rush out the door.
"Y/n. You're okay." Joyce said as she embraced her only daughter with a sigh of relief. Jonathan ran up and joined the hug took "Thank god you're alright." He said. Y/n smiled and felt safe again. Being with her family was all she needs too feel safe.
"I was so worried about you, I was so worried about you" Joyce said twice and kissed y/n on the forehead before letting her go.
"Oh my god, Mike." Nancy said, running up and hugging her brother. Y/n didn't think she had seen them hug before. Ever.
"I was so worried about you." Nancy told Mike.
