"No! No! No! No!"
It was not a quiet morning, the morning of October 31st in the Byers household.
Y/n had discovered, upon putting her Halloween costume on (you are dressing as whatever you want) that there's a tear. Not a small tear, a huge one going up the left side of the costume. It was completely obvious as you could see her skin and a little bit of her underwear.
"Shit, shit, shit." She repeated.
"Mum, y/n is screaming again!" Jonathan yelled to his mother after hearing his sister scream.
Joyce quickly ran into y/n's room.
"What's wrong?" She asked instantly but she quickly noticed the tear and said. "Oh, no."
"What am I gonna do?!" Y/n exclaimed. She didn't really care about wearing it to school but she needed it to trick or treat that night.
Joyce came and stood beside her and examined the damage. "I think it's fixable, in my lunch break I'll be able to try and fix it." She said.
"Are you sure?" Y/n asked.
"Yes, only you don't get to wear it to school." Joyce said.
"That's fine, I just need it tonight." Y/n said.

"This is the worst thing to happen. I mean it's just my luck." Y/n was saying to Will after Jonathan had dropped them off at school.
They were walking over to meet the others and y/n was still rambling about her costume breaking.
"Now look at me! Dressed in regular clothes on Halloween." She continued.
"Y/n, relax at least you can wear it tonight." Will said as they caught up with the boys.
As they arrived they were singing the Ghostbusters theme song, the four boys were dressed as the 4 ghostbusters from the movie. They tried to convince y/n to be Dana but she didn't want to cause she wanted to dress up as something else but that didn't work out to well for her anyway.
"Egon!" Lucas shouts, hugging Will.
"Venkman." Will shouts back.
"Woah, woah," Mike interrupts, "why are you Venkman?" He asks Lucas.
"Because I'm Venkman." Lucas answered.
"No, I'm Venkman." Mike argued.
"Guys, does it really matter?" Y/n said.
"Yes." Lucas and Mike responded at the same time.
"Why can't there be two Venkmans?" Will suggested.
"Because there's only one in real life. We planned this months ago. I'm Venkman, Dustin's Stantz, Wills Egon, and you're Winston." Mike said.
"I specially didn't agree to Winston." Lucas said.
"Yes you did!"
