Internal Trauma

3rd P.O.V

"Quickly! Lay her on the couch" Savannah pushed off all the pillows. Taehyun laid Luna down. "Gosh, first Yeonjun now Luna" Beomgyu said as he looked down at her. Yeonjun sent him a death glare. He put his hands up in defence. Maya grabbed a stool and sat beside her. "Does anyone know what's going on with her?" Savannah was still running around the room gathering herbs "No idea. But it can only be something supernatural". Maya put her wrist on her forehead "She's burning up". Savannah stopped and looked at Luna. Soobin came running in from the kitchen "Here's a cold, wet cloth". He handed the wet cloth to Maya. She gently put it on Luna's forehead. Luna was twitching. Sweat was dripping down her forehead. Her eyes were squinted closed hardly. Her breathing was uneven and in-between. "She looks like she's having a nightmare" Maya narrowed her eyebrows "If only we knew what was going on in her head". The guys all looked at Kai. Kai looked to Soobin. He gave him a nod of approval. Kai sighed "I'll help". Savannah and Maya looked at each other in confusion. Maya stood up so Kai could sit on the stool. He took in a deep breath before closing his eyes. He was slouched over. "What is he doing?" Maya whispered to Beomgyu "He's trying to enter her mind". Maya looked at him wide-eyed. At one point Kai's back straightened completely. "He's in" Savannah looked at Kai nervously.

After a couple of minutes or so Kai let out a small gasp. Soobin stepped forward. He squatted down before speaking in a gentle manner "What do you see?". Silence. "I see". Silence again. "It looks like an old and rundown village". Savannah and Maya locked eyes. "Can you describe it a little more?". Kai took in a breath. "It's in a clearing. But it's big. To my left there are trees and forests, but to my right, I can hear the faint sounds of waves crashing". Maya moved uncomfortably in her spot. "Do you see anyone?". He paused for a moment. "Omg" Kai made his hand into fists "It's here". Everyone looked at each other confused "What do you see Kai? What's there?" Maya's voice cut in. He gulped "The beast. It's here. And it's carrying Luna in its mouth". Maya gasped. "Is she" Savannah's voice cracked. "She's not dead but she's not moving either". "Can you get a closer look?" Soobin asked. Kai tightened his eyes close. "Guys, this might sound a bit weird but I'm pretty sure the beast is tied up to something" everyone had a confused look on their faces "What do you mean?". "It has a leash or rope around its neck". With a hand gesture, Savannah hurdled everyone closer. "Guys, this might be a symbol. Luna's visions almost always have symbolism in them" she said quietly. Everyone looked toward Soobin. He cleared his throat "Kai. What is the beast attached to?". He shook his head slowly "It's too far. I'll try to get closer". Maya bit the inside of her cheek "Be careful". "Uhm.. Guys it's not tied up to something but rather someone" Soobin looked up to Savannah and tilted his head. Savannah kneeled next to Kai and asked him in a gentle tone "Kai, who is the beast tied up to?". A long pause again. "Kai?" his whole body shook. "Fuck. I've been spotted" Soobin stood up "Okay cut it off". Kai started shaking and stopped breathing. Soobin grabbed his hand "Kai cut it off!" Soobin said in a demanding tone. The veins in Kai's neck started to become darker and darker. "Kai!" Maya yelled. His nose started bleeding. "CUT IT OFF" Soobin roared. Kai came back with a loud gasp. He held his hand up to his nose. He looked around him confused. "You okay?" Taehyun asked as he put a comforting hand on his shoulder. He nodded slowly, clearly taken aback by what he saw and heard. Kai stood up. Yeonjun looked at Luna in concern. His hand accidentally touched her arm. He twitched "Guys she's in pain" everyone looked at him "Like in a lot of pain". Soobin touched her arm as well "Holy shit". "What if we try and take her pain. Then maybe she'll wake up?" Yeonjun looked to the others. "We might as well try" the guys gathered around Luna. They touched either her hands or arms and began taking away her pain.

"It's too much" Soobin looked to Savannah "We're not enough". Savanna and Maya looked at each other. "Wanna try our spell?" Savannah nodded at Maya's idea. "Do what you did before we'll try to enforce it". The guys laid their hands on Luna again. Maya quickly grabbed a sharp object near her. She handed it to Savannah. With the sharp edge, she cut her own palm, then Maya's and at last Luna's. Savannah and Maya sat down beside her. Savannah held both Luna and Maya's hands. They took in a deep breath before chanting. "Like sisters of blood, like sisters of the moon" Savannah began glowing the same deep orange from earlier. Maya could feel her energy. It made her lose focus, but she managed to finish the spell "When we share our blood, let us share our pain too". Savannah's grip on Luna and Maya's hands tightened as an immense pain went through her body. She gasped in surprise. The pain soon travelled to Maya. She grunted. She was trying to focus on taking away the pain and not giving in to it. After a minute everyone let go. It was quiet except for everyone's heavy breathing. "Do you think it work-" Kai was cut off by Luna. She sat straight up and let out a high-pitched scream. Everyone grabbed their ears and crouched down. She stopped. Silence. Everyone looked up again. She was still sitting with her back completely straight. Her chest was rising and falling normally again. "Are you okay?" Maya said as she cautiously stood up. Luna nodded as tears were forming in her eyes. Maya quickly grabbed her and gave her the biggest hug. Savannah leaned up against the couch letting out a sigh of relief.
