Fate Decides (Part 2)

A Familiar Face

Luna P.O.V

"Once more" everyone gathered in the living room. We were all getting ready to leave for school. "Let's all meet at the school entrance after last period" everyone nodded in agreement. The guys left the house first. "Wait" Savannah put a hand on my shoulder "Don't worry. We'll find this rundown warehouse". I knew she was trying to comfort me, but the flashes of my vision still haunted me. It had been two weeks since Yeonjun and I had been caught. We had been fast at work, trying to track Leila down. So far, the only lead we have is my vision, which is not much help. Tonight, we wanted to follow another lead, which was the rundown warehouse. "I know" I gave her a reassuring smile. She patted my back before pushing me forward. I didn't want to worry the others, but I had a bad gut feeling about today.

I felt a cold breeze fly past us as we entered the school. I shook my head trying not to focus on it. My body had been on high alert since earlier this morning. Constant goosebumps and waves of cold. "We'll see you guys later" Kai said waving the others off. Yeonjun, Kai and I walked in the direction of our classroom. First period. Arts class. The guys were walking ahead of me. Time seemed to slow down as I started to zone out. "Luuuunaaaa" I heard an enchanting echo say. I couldn't tell where the voice was coming from. "I need youuu" the voice said again in an alluring manner. It felt extremely familiar. However, I couldn't pinpoint it. Is it her? I looked around us frantically. No way. It sounds nothing like her. Time seemed to speed up again. "Luna? Hey? Earth to Luna" someone gently shook my shoulder. My vision became clearer again and before me stood a concerned Yeonjun and Kai. "Are you okay?" Yeonjun's hand dropped back to his side. I blinked a couple of times. "Yeah" they both raised their eyebrows. "Okay.." without getting anything else out of me, they gave each other a look before walking again. This time waiting for me to walk beside them. I felt their occasional stares. A sigh escaped my lips before entering the classroom.

~Time skip~

Today's class was all about different theories and practices, so we were all just taking notes. Yeonjun and Kai were still sending me stares every now on and then. I bit my lip as I tried focusing on the lesson. Mrs Blake was as vibrant as ever. She really IS amazing. A smile formed on my lips. Mrs Blake had been such a big help since starting high school. I had no idea how to do anything school related, since everything evolved around technology. And the three of us found it very hard to keep up with everything. It's wild that we even know how to work a phone – let alone a whole computer. I told Mrs Blake that I was home-school before and never really learned how to take proper notes. Without hesitation she wanted to help me, given me a lot of helpful tips and examples. Now, I didn't even need to look at my paper to take notes. And to be honest, my notes had never been easier to understand than they are now. I looked at my paper with a smile. However, my smile quickly fell as my eyes widened.

3rd P.O.V

Yeonjun and Kai sat beside each other. Kai was doodling in his notebook while Yeonjun sat bored, tapping his pen against the table. Yeonjun had been taking small peeks at Luna since earlier. They knew something was going on. He furrowed his eyebrows as he felt an energy shift in the room. His eyes immediately went over to Luna's figure. Her hands were shaking as she grabbed the edge of her table. He sat up straight ready to step in. However, Luna had already stood up "Sorry, can I go to the bathroom?". Mrs Blake gave her a surprised nod. She left the class immediately after. Yeonjun nudged Kai before standing up. Without hesitation, he ran after Luna. Kai looked confused "Sorry, we'll go check on her". Kai bowed to Mrs Blake. "Please" she answered concerned. Upon grabbing Luna's things Kai saw her notebook. His eyes widened before quickly running after Yeonjun and Luna.
